Seminole Wind Ranch

This is a great place to go to ride your horse and camp for the weekend. The owners are great people and do guided rides. When they have events, you can buy tickets for whatever they are cooking. They also have a band show up for some events! Bring your cowboy hat and boots and prepare to have a great time around great people! Highly recommend this venue!

We just got home after a 4 day 3 night stay here. The place was beautiful and the stalls where nice. The riding trails were good. The owners where on vacation but CJ and her husband made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back. It was a great girls trip.

This is such a gem if you enjoy being around horses and cows. We didn't have our own horses but really enjoyed watching everyone ride around us. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The free range cows just added to the quiet country setting.

If you are a horse lover, have a travel camper, and are looking for a place to travel to, this would be a good place for you. Google lists it as a “Camping farm.” Their website states that they are an “Equestrian campground located adjacent to the Seminole State Forest.” It can be a little tricky to find the entrance as it is a small sign off the south side of SR 44. Once you turn off the road it is pretty easy with the signage to figure out where it is. Our group went there to film a short video in the area near their common area. Most people we saw arriving drove with their Winnebagos and horse trailers and rented areas to let their horses have a rest and enjoy time out of the trailer with other like-minded people. There is a lake that we saw and their website touts trail rides on the property. It was a lovely place with lots of shady spots and a true rustic feel. The people who run the place were wonderfully helpful and friendly. If you want a nice place to stop and enjoy some time in a true Florida wilderness with your horse this is your place.

I have just returned from my second visit to Seminole Wind Ranch and I can't wait to go back. I had an incredible experience with my horse. We both loved it. She was very comfortable in the beautiful paddock andi think she enjoyed the lake view. I appreciated the water and feed buckets waiting for her in her paddock. The shower stall had the best water pressure I have ever used. The trail riding was so awesome! We did 4 hours both days and loved every minute. This place is SPECIAL. The owners are so warm and welcoming, they make you feel like old friends. I hope to be back again soon.

This place is top notch and so are the owner's. You'll never meet more open and kind folks. Ryan and Vince treat you like they've known you their whole lives. Beautiful trails, nice paddocks, a lake to swim in, an adorable bath house that's super clean and cute. I will definitely be visiting this place again soon.

The hosts Vince and Ryan are amazing. Beautiful shaded campsites with covered paddocks. Great well marked sandy trails. Our horses and dogs enjoyed the lake. My husband and I spent a month and we felt like family. Can't wait to get back. Me Amy.

A group of our riders camped out recently as some of us had already experienced the beauty and beautiful VIBE of this place. The hosts were the BEST OF THE BEST cooking out each night as we All shared our side dishes with their awesome BBQ... I plan on making this one of my most awesome retreats year round. Look forward to seeing y'all soon. ❤️
