Griffin Island Campground Rentals

We have made many visits to Griffin Island Campground, and will be heading there again in a couple weeks! Our boys are water dogs and we love the clean beautiful area that Griffin Island is in. We have spent family Reunions, family vacations, and yes at my Request!!!! My hubby has taken me for Mother’s Day & Anniversary get aways(close to Pigeon Forge to go celebrate) or stay in and enjoy the beautiful sunset!!! Management has always been excellent & quickly responded any time we have needed anything!!! We do take drinking water because the water is well water but is perfectly fine for dishes & showering!!! Can’t wait to be enjoying it again soon!!!!

We stayed in one of the campers on the island and it was great. We enjoyed the fishing and just relaxing under the pavilion while we were grilling out. They have a swing set for the kids. There are many places to go swimming. Make sure you bring all of your personal items such as tissue paper, soap, etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from all the hussle of life. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back!

Called for details. They didn't have availabilty for the dates I needed, but the person on the phone was so incredibly nice that I had to leave 5 stars. They gave me suggestions for available places nearby. What an awesome human being!!!! I would DEFINITELY stay here in the future if this is how they treat people who aren't even customers.

We were looking for a campground with last minute availability on 4th of July weekend. We were accommodated with a nice, cool camper and was met with exceptional service. We loved the tight-knit family feel of the site. If you are looking to rent a camper on Douglas Lake I would highly recommend Griffin Island Campground.

Management was very friendly, great location with a nice big deck on the water with lounge chairs and picnic tables. No frills, but a great value. Everything in working order. Thanks again!

Very nice, clean, quiet, well maintained facility. It would be nice if there were a designated swimming area. Otherwise this is a wonderful place with reasonable rates.

We took out kids here to have a camping experience, this place is completely run down we were the only ones that were "camping" this is not a campground it's just a place to sleep for the night, it's a good cheap spot to crash at night if you plan on spending the day in town or on the lake
