Southern Comfort Inn, Lily Dale, NY

I felt at home at the Southern Comfort Inn. Joseph and Craig are welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Both are a wealth of knowledge about Lily Dale, local events, and mediumship; every question I asked received a thoughtful answer. My room was comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the mini fridge as I brought food for my visit. The kitties were an unexpected joy that made my stay more like home.

Amazing visit to Lily Dale. Wonderful stay at the Southern Comfort Inn, the place is perfect location and has all the modern comforts. Joseph and Craig are the best hosts, couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Lots of laughs and great energy! We are looking forward to visiting again next season 😊🙏

I have been visiting Lily Dale solo for years and I try to book a guest house each time. For my most recent visit, I decided to give Southern Comfort a chance and I'm glad I did! Joseph and Craig are wonderful accommodating hosts and their home is beautiful. I felt welcomed, cared for, and even included (which was an unexpected surprise). Some of the best moments from my trip were simply chatting with the hosts around the home or on the screened porch.||As far as amenities, I do not know of another Lily Dale guest house that offers nearly as many. Beyond the air conditioning, my room had a mini-fridge with bottled water and coffee creamer, a Keurig coffee maker with mugs and fixings, and a flat-screen TV complete with Netflix access! The beds are the most comfortable in the Dale! If that's not amazing enough, Craig put fresh flowers on my nightstand when I arrived. I was also pleased to learn that some of the guest rooms will be upgraded with private bathrooms. ||If it's not obvious already, I know EXACTLY where I'll be staying during my visit next season. ||Thank you, Joseph, Craig, (and Blue!) for sharing your home with me and treating me like a queen. Wishing you the best and looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Luxury and solace in a special place. A beautiful guest house in the center of Lily Dale that offers everything that one needs for a comfortable stay. The porch is a meeting place to make friends and enjoy a tea/coffee. We will definitely return.

During our first time in Lily Dale my brother and I had the pleasure of staying at the Southern Comfort Inn. I can’t say enough about the southern hospitality we received. Joseph and Craig have a beautiful home that is full of vibrant and healing energy. Each room has a different theme and each are so beautiful. The lengths that they went to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable were top of the line. I HIGHLY recommend that you stay here during your time at Lily Dale. You will never forget it because they are unforgettable. It was hard to leave, but we will be back! ☀️ 🌻

Joseph and Craig strike the perfect level of comfort, convenience and warmth in their lovely Victorian home. A friend and I spent two days at Lily Dale and the bed/linens and room temperature were superb. The room was spacious with gorgeous light that looked out to a lovely garden. Peace, serenity and a welcoming vibe define their space. ||||Craig ensures that guests have everything they could possibly need in terms of cream (carton) for the coffee and plenty of cold bottled water in the room fridge and choice of coffee for the Keurig. The entire home was crisp and fresh with automatic hall and bathroom lights. The shared bathroom was squeaky clean, comfortable and quite adequate. You will need to bring your own soap for the shower. I noticed that an additional bathroom is under construction and will be ready for the 2023 season. Therefore, each room will have a private bathroom.||||I had initially reserved a room at Best Western in Dunkirk/Fredonia but the stench in the room upon opening the door was overwhelming; never mind the dark and dank appearance. We immediately checked out and drove directly to Lily Dale. This was the right choice because you cannot fully experience the peace and tranquility of Lily Dale without staying on site. We enjoyed many hikes, met lots of people and even attended a church service. ||||It must have been divine intervention because upon arrival, a resident suggested that we speak with Joseph regarding accommodations. Craig and Joseph proved to be the perfect hosts and greatly enriched our overall experience. I cannot wait to visit them again next season! ||||D. Toro (9/27/22)

I've been coming to Lily Dale for years and our stay at the Southern Comfort Inn did not disappoint. It is centrally located in the community. The home Is beautiful and well appointed... the gardens are spectacular! There is a common area to relax as well as a beautiful screened In porch perfect for sitting and reflecting on the day. The rooms have a comfy bed (my friend and I shared the two twin beds room), AC, TV, coffee/tea for the morning and plenty of fresh linens. Will definitely be returning!

Our group of four had a wonderful stay. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had away from home!! Every creature comfort was taken care of - AC, Alexa, mini fridge, coffee maker and flat screen TV in each large room. Rooms were very quiet. We enjoyed gathering on the porch and inside. Our hosts were fabulous! Joseph and Craig are very personable and we enjoyed learning about the history of their beautiful home. We also fell in love with Blue, their adorable cat. This was our third visit in Lily Dale and first at Southern Comfort. This is our first choice now!
