Lakefront Anchorage

On the website the pictures look really nice, cozy Lodge. The check in and customer service was horrible.... my room key did not work, had to walk all the way on the other side of the building just to find that out and had to walk right back and stood in line for another 25 minutes! I tried calling on my cell phone to have someone bring us up new keys but no one answered the front desk phones cuz they were busy. The room was ok however, mattress was too soft but had the necessities. They had a decent gym as well. Restaurant Lodge is good and the food was great. Waitress s were polite.

I’ve stayed here probably a dozen times and it’s my go-to for Anchorage stops. Good value compared with other nice hotels in the area. Conveniently close to the airport with a reliable shuttle and customer service is good. It’s a mid range hotel but a good choice for when you’re not wanting to go super fancy but also don’t want to fear for your life like some other spots around. Note that you should call in the morning of your stay if you want a lake view room

22.40 daily resort fee? This isn't Las Vegas. I don't want your $10 resort credit I want the room to be the advertised price.

Terrible experience. Check in is at 3 pm and our room wasn’t ready until 9:30 pm. All we were compensated with was free breakfast coupon. Old old hotel. So overpriced. Food was sub par. Don’t waste your money.
