★★★★★We had an amazing stay here for 11 days! We had a 2-bedroom apartment that had been renovated with minimal carpets, which I really appreciated with my allergies. It was so nice to have a full kitchen, table and chairs, and living room. It really made our stay very comfortable. The beds were comfy too. The staff we encountered were all fantastic and friendly. We couldn’t find something and used their text service, and they got back to us quickly with the answer. Really, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

★★★★★The stay was very enjoyable the room was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was very handy and had everything needed to prepare light meals. The staff are helpful and polite. The gardens all around the property had the most beautiful flowers and vegetables growing in them. The shuttle to the airport was handy and the driver a nice helpful man. The museum was a great thing to see as one of the best vehicle museums we have ever seen in the world so far. The walk around the lake was lovely and so nice to be able to take a stroll and see some birds and small animals||Would stay there again if ever in Alaska or the area again.

★★★★★Fantastic place! The room was wonderful and having a full-sized stove and oven was super helpful. We really enjoyed the nature trail and was very grateful for the wake-up call setting for seeing the Aurora. We will definitely come back here to stay for our next Northern Light viewing trip!

NillI stayed here for 6 months and overall I had a good experience. Its a great location and provides easy access to town. The room was a little dated but very functional. I kept having to flip the breaker for the bathroom since I would lose power to the outlet when using the blow dryer. They sent in maintenance who said it happens sometimes. The room keys would go bad very often, as in a card would go bad about once a week. I could badge into the building, but the same card wouldn't open my room. They said the locks were going to be updated soon and that should fix the problem. Housekeeping comes once a week on a set day, but they can come anywhere from 8am to 4pm so if you work nights or have a set schedule it's a little tough to coordinate. Communication is a bit of a problem. The air-conditioner unit was winterized and had a sign stating not to use it till later in the summer. It got so hot I finally called to see if they could lower the temperature. They sent maintenance over to cut the zip ties off the AC and was told they had been ok to use for over a month and weren't sure why mine was still locked. When I checked out I had accidently left a coffee French press that was not worth much but held sentimental value. The very night I left, I relized what happened and called before the room was even cleaned and told them exactly where I had left it and to see if they could hold onto it so a friend could pick it up for me. I have called the front desk 4 times to ask if they found it and all 4 times they took my number and said they would reach out to housekeeping and call back either way, but they never did.

★★★Room was nice. Good furniture. Hard to figure out which building was which. No sidewalks to get out of there. Bathrooms in the Bear Lodge were really nice. No one told us about the trails, museum and gym. TV in room was terrible - large but very grainy.

★★★★★Easy-Peazy. Booking, check-in and checking out were all quick, smooth and flawless. The operation is pretty well organized.||The facility is beyond my expectations in all areas. It might not be 'The Ritz-Carleton' in NYC, but it's right at the top for Fairbanks, AK.||The amenities available, with the lake, trail, gym, historical artifacts and pictures, displays and such is entertaining enough to be almost distracting! A trip to the bathroom could become a historical hike if you view and read just the wall postings. And there just aren't enough words to describe and accolade the Fountainhead Museum - OhMyGAWD it's incredible!!!||I found the layout, particularly the road(s), driveways and parking, confusing beyond words. Without my map I could have turned wrong and ended up who-knows-where each time I left the convention center for my building - which was directly visible from the front door! I took a couple of short trips into Fairbanks and - each time - I ended up making a wrong turn somewhere in the maze of driveways and ended up NOT at my building; I had to go back-out-around, somewhere to get to where I was supposed to be.||Staff was exceptional in all respects.||My suite was closer to an apartment - a family of four could have lived there easily if there were one or two more beds. There was more closet space than my entire home has. To say it was 'comfy' is an understatement.

★★★★★The Wedgewood provided plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy our time in Fairbanks. The fitness center and nature trails were nice perks. We liked the location since it felt secluded, but was very close to everything we needed in Fairbanks.

NillThe rooms are very outdated. I felt like I was stepping back to 1976 every time I entered my room. The wallpaper, carpet and furniture looked antique. However, everything in the room was functional and not broken. This was surprising because it's old but still well maintained. If you are into stepping back in time, feeling nostalgic, or just like the design of the 70s then this hotel is perfect for you. If you were born in a more modern generation, it will feel like staying here is just like staying at your grandmother's house. 🏚️ Housekeeping sucks a little. They don't come to your room everyday. Don't even bother asking the front desk if you can have housekeeping come up to your room because they stick with their schedule and most likely will not accommodate. 🧹 Everything else is fine. Laundry rooms are great. Their laundry machines only take specific tokens that they sell at the front desk. A token is $3 each. 1 token will get you 30 min wash time or 45 min dryer time. So that's $6 a load of laundry... Yikes 😬. The gym is okay. They have 2 old treadmills, ellipticals, bike machine, some weights and a cable machine. The gym has no AC so in the summer it gets warm in there 🥵. There is only one window AC unit per room and it's located in the bedroom. No AC in the common areas so it gets warm there in the summer.
