Golden North Inn

Great motel. Not a great location for what I needed but it is close to the airport and fred meyers if you need supplies. Staff are extremely nice. The one girl the just moved there from Pittsburgh. I think her name was Jessica or Jennifer. She was an amazing front desk host. Very helpful. Love the little snack you offer for breakfast. The yogurt is amazing.

As our itinerary had several unexpected changes, they were willing to accommodate in each situation. To be in panic mode and have friendly smiling faces to be like “ no worries” is priceless. There is nothing fancy about this place but they treat you as if you are staying at a 5 star hotel.The shuttle service made our trip a lot less stressful. The one thing that is confusing is I use the same brand of coffee and mine tastes nothing like theirs. I would stay in their broom closet just for the shuttle service and coffee. Thanks GNI team!

Nice, clean and convenient to the Fairbanks airport. Free shuttle service, they picked me up at 3:00AM. Carlos and Max were very helpful at check-in and check-out.

We recently stayed 1 night at Golden North Inn and found it to be just what we needed arriving into Fairbanks at 2 AM. Great shuttle service in the middle of the night, rooms clean and warm, nice breakfast in the morning and very helpful staff.

This is a good Place for an Over Night stay to catch a Plane or Train. We stayed her twice this trip and will likely do so again. The rooms are Clean, the bathroom is clean and serviceable. The AC (required in the summer) is a indoor unit vented through the wall and takes up some valuable space in the room next to the bed, it is also a little slow to cool down the room. The service is Most Excellent, Very friendly staff, went out of their way to help, for example; on the way out we were on a very early flight and would miss Breakfast. they made up two bagged breakfast snacks for us to take with us. The ride to the airport was easy and on time. The location is good for us, we go to the Delta Junction area, this hotel is very close to the airport and close to the train Depot and they will pick you up and drop you off. There is a good coffee shop about a block away and you can easily walk to Fred Myer and the small shopping center Like I said we will try to stay here again nest time

The room was large and had 2 queen size beds plus we had a sitting room with couch, table chair & TV. Breakfast was continental but muffins & bagels came from CostcoOvernight stay. Also, Chobani yogurt. They do not have a kitchen, so eggs were not on the menu.

The customer service went above our expectations! We arrived late and had a rough trip. The night clerk was very helpful. In the morning the breakfast was fresh and hit the spot. Everything was clean and the room was very comfortable.

Nice older motel rooms are nice fridge microwave extra blanket. The staff is awesome 🤩 I always stay here when I come to Fairbanks
