Cove Peaks Lodge

We stayed at Cove Peaks Lodge in June 2021. We considered several lodges for this trip and could not have been more pleased with our choice. Dave and the team are extremely responsive and will walk you through building out an itinerary. We hiked to the glacier that is right across the bay, did a float plane welcome tour around the area, two fishing charters (halibut and salmon) and flew to Katmai National Park to see the Grizzly Bears. All trips were booked by Dave and team in advance and we would recommend each. The facility is top quality and was the perfect base for our vacation. It's in an unbelievable location, a 20 minute boat ride from Homer on a remote beach with the mountains as a backdrop. Pictures do not do it justice. The meals are all fantastic (thanks Michael!) and all drinks etc. are included. Everything is completely turnkey. The entire team works hard to make sure your stay is enjoyable- and we will look forward to returning soon.

Stayed here for a few days in September. It was so peaceful and nice. I got to eat on the deck and watch otters swim in the bay every day. Staff is great, food is always on point, place is clean, really cute cabins, wifi, such a nice lodge nestled right off the bay. Also has a sauna with a great view. You won’t be disappointed here. The water taxi ride over is beautiful too.

Cove Peaks lodge was the perfect destination. The owners were great, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful, secluded, and offered great opportunities to view wildlife (including otters, eagles, and starfish). We had a great time fishing and relaxing on the beach. Michael, the manager and one of the chefs, arranged the 20 minute water taxi from Homer. He was awesome, he took care of everything for us, from arranging the water taxis to our fishing charter. He was even so kind as to pack us lunches for our fishing trip. Sam and Michael are amazing chefs. We were very impressed with every meal they made. We highly recommend Cove Peaks Lodge.
