Juneau Hotel

We stayed here twice in December, 2024.||The first stay, I was impressed by our suite’s cleanliness and the professional attitude of the staff. The price was excellent. ||The second stay, it seemed the suite (a different one) had not been well-cleaned: there was lint in the dryer and a lot of debris on the washer lid, not enough toiletries (especially soap) for four guests, an empty box of tissues, and the couch was very dirty. Again, the staff was wonderful. ||I would stay here again but would ask for a room change if it appeared as dirty as was the second suite.

I am here for work for 60 days and this hotel is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy. There is a full kitchen, fridge, and washer/dryer. The views are spectacular!!! I highly recommend this place to stay!!

Understanding that this is Juneau, the room prices are higher due to demand. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the night staff (we arrived at 1am) was helpful but she was not very knowledgeable. With the benefit of the doubt, we considered that she was likely. She didn't know where our room was located, and had trouble with making the key cards. The room itself is terribly outdated and shabby. The space was clean enough. As someone who is in the hotel industry, I understand the challenges of operation.

I arrived in Juneau the night before my cruise was set to depart. The Juneau Hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport that was easy to find and convenient. The room was enormous and comfortable. The most amazing part was that in the morning, there were a bunch of us in the lobby at the same time who happened to be joining the same cruise. It was raining and we were strategizing about the best way to get our luggage down to the cruise dock. Without being asked, the front desk receptionist offered to take all the bags down there in his mini van. We loaded it up, one or two guests went with him, and the rest of us did the easy walk over there. It was a small gesture that made all of our lives so much easier. Just lovely.

We had a fantastic stay at the Juneau Hotel. Our room was clean and smelled clean and fresh as well. It was spacious and had a great kitchen. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and having a washer and dryer in the room was convenient. My husband particularly enjoyed the excellent water pressure. The staff were all friendly and made us feel very welcome.🤗 |The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to downtown and the Gastineau Channel. We would rate our experience a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend it!

Rooms are spacious and included kitchenet, coffe suplies and laundromat. Very Alaskan vibe, furniture a bit dated, but enhances the experience. Everything functioning. Front desk staff very friendly. It is located right in front of the Whale.

I stayed there on two different days, two different rooms and floors; but within the same week. Both rooms were dirty from crumbs on the floor, to dirty towels, dirty toilet, to water rings on the night stands. It's one of those things, that by the time the totality of the grim was realized, I didn't have the energy to report the mess to the front desk. That being said, the front desk staff were very kind and friendly. Maybe they were blissfully unaware that housekeeping was not doing their job. Location is great, except be warned that keeping your windows open brings occassional low-tide smells.

Overall not cleaned room, pull out mattress had brown and yellow stains with no sheets on it. Asked front desk if I could replace the mattress and they just gave me sheets to cover up the stains. There were also yellow stain marks on the non carpeted parts of the floor.
