★★★★★We enjoyed being in Sitka for 3 days during our Alaska vacation. The Longliner Lodge was a great place to stay! The location has a beautiful view out the Sitka Channel. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Staff was very friendly. Manager/co-owner?(Kevin) was especially helpful and friendly. Our visit was after the end of the normal Alaska travel season and the restaurant had closed the week before we arrived. There are several nice places to eat a short walk away though and it's an easy walk to many of the attractions as well. If we return to Sitka we will definitely stay at the Longliner again. ||

★★★★★I have never been to Alaska before and decided to go to Sitka because I love the movie the Proposal! I stayed at the Longliner for three nights and it was a great experience! The staff was so attentive and accommodating and they truly had their guests best interest at heart. The rooms were large and very comfortable. It was also super helpful to have a shuttle service to and from the airport and I even took a shuttle from the hotel to see the Fortress of the Bear! I ate at the restaurant and you can’t beat a great view with the best macadamia nut crusted halibut ever!! Certainly a crave worthy dish! 100% recommend staying at the Longliner for a memorable and lovely stay!!

★★★★★As a local and former real estate broker I know where stay. Sitka has some great choices, I would know. But when our son graduated and we had family coming to town, Longliner was the best choice for us. Rented a floor of rooms and they let us have a crab boil on the dock. Even let me pull our boat around so we could take family out for a cocktail cruise. So awesome guys. Thank you!

★★★★★We had a great stay at the Longliner. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and AMAZING food at the Galley Restaurant. A very easy 10 minute walk to downtown Sitka. The shuttle service to and from the airport was fast and very welcome. We would happily stay here again.

★★★★★Very comfortable, clean well run hotel on the water with great restaurant! Spent four days & easy to get around with bus, or being "dropped off" at sights & phone for pickup. Beds extremely comfortable, very quiet place even when all rooms full. I cannot fathom staying anywhere else in Sitka.

★★★★★Comfortable beds, made every day by staff, Kevin is always there to help. Totally recommended. Nice having an elevator for the 3 rd floor. Rooms were clean and quite well kept. Complementary breakfast items like juice, danish, fruit, etc.

★★★★Stayed at the Longliner while in Sika for a business conference. The rooms are very clean and the staff are some of the nicest folks you'd ever meet. Gotta give a shout out to Ferdinand, he was so friendly and helpful... he even got up early to give a couple of us a ride into town one morning when it was raining pretty heavy. It was late in the season so the restaurant was closed, but folks in town said the food is really good there. All-in-all the Longliner is a solid spot to stay while visiting Sitka!

★The room was not as pictured in photos. Old mattresses, old furniture, closed restaurant, no working TV. Nice staff and it is not far to town ( unless it’s pouring) that’s the only positive things I can say about the place. Expensive and not worth the price.
