NillThis is not your average hotel. I wanted to stay here because this used to house the offices for the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Its modular units with added bathrooms (added when made into a hotel). I liked the fact that the fire sprinklers come through the room, its part of the charm. Breakfast was typical of any hotel. The walls are thin but people around me were quiet. I'd stay here again. It wasn't far from the harbor. I was here in June 2024.

★★★★This place was great for showering and sleeping! Although the room was small for two people, it worked well for what I needed. The bed was comfortable enough, the shower pressure was great (with plenty of hot water), and the staff was nice. The pillows were flat, but have you ever found a hotel with great pillows?

NillSmall clean and comfortable rooms. If you are looking for a place to sleep and to shower. This is the place. It's not your local holiday inn. But my family of 4 had two good night rests during our fishing trip this week. If you need a place to stay, it might not be the best. If you just need a place to sleep and shower it's perfect.

NillI don't usually write reviews, but this time i have to. I would avoid this hotel at all costs and would definitely not stay here if there was no other option. The rooms are not clean at all. The sheets were dirty and stinky. The whole hotel smells bad. I was honestly afraid to look under the sheets on the mattress because I knew I had to last one night. As for the rooms, it's terribly cold. When we went to the reception to ask for heating in the room, the only thing the receptionist did was gave me an extra blanket. However, the temperature did not improve even a degree. The cleaning of the common areas is terrible. I feel like it's never been cleaned here. Anyway, feel free to make up your own mind. For myself, I would rather pay extra for a better hotel. I give 1 star, if I could, I would give none. + Good wifi - non-funkcional heating (warm in common areas, freezing temperature in rooms), CLEANING, thin walls, dirty and stinky sheets, strange smell everywhere

NillWow, this hotel was amazing. The rooms were giant and included two bathrooms. There was a great breakfast option ham and cheese sandwiches, bacon and waffle with a juice machine. Amazing view of the mountains and great waterfront view

NillThis was the only hotel available as everything was sold out. Valdez is a small town with limited lodging options. This a very basic hotel with bed to sleep and shower. Rooms are small with basic amenities. No thermostat in room , have to call front desk to adjust room temperature. Still comfortable beds. Just enough option to stay in beautiful town. Location is great.

NillOne of the worst places I've ever slept in, and I've been in unheated hospitales on the Bolivian altiplano and old cow sheds in the italian Alps. For 100 dollars per night you get: - A room too small to open your bags in - A shared bed to short to lay down - A windowless bathroom for 4 peoples with towels for one - Walls so thin you can hear a fart three rooms down - An overhead shelf too small to place both your phone and your glasses All this in an old smelly building that looks like a dilapidated military base. The couches of the common room have broken seats and are barely usable. And if your shower need written instructions in every room AND at the reception desk, maybe it's time to update them.... Avoid if possible.

NillRooms tiny, more like a Hong Kong hotel than an American. Walls paper thin. Just about acceptable, as long as you're ok storing your clothes in your luggage, as there is no wardrobe or storage space. Breakfast, we didn't try it, as there are plenty of diners local with proper knives, forks and mugs. For Alaska it's ok.
