SpringHill Suites Tempe at Arizona Mills Mall

well, the exterior of the hotel is nice, very well kept, however the moment you step into your room, it all goes downhill. the door lock would not opem for 5 minutes, and then once we did get in, the room was small for there being 2 beds, and a couch. amenities are a closet, microwave, and a fridge. then into the bathroom, you are greeted with more. The toilet is nonstop running, constantly pouring water and flushing on its own, and then the shower is very disgusting. the walls had hair all over them, the bathtub was run down and there was rust at the drain and near it on the tub. i would NOT suggest going here. not very good. one of the few things that are good is the location of the hotel.

We booked this place because it was close to where a family member was staying for work. Unfortunately, two members of our family contracted head lice from our stay. It is rare, but is possible if proper hygiene is not observed. We chose to check out early, and were not given any explanation or apology or even offer to have our room cleaned. When I went to notify the front desk manager, not to create a scene, but to inform her, I was summarily dismissed. We have opened a formal complaint with Marriott. There are other hotels of similar price in this area. I would highly suggest going elsewhere.

Well this is always our go to get away spot every time we come service is wonderful. My kids enjoy it and there is plenty of room with the couch and pullout bed. And Jim went above and beyond to help accommodate us on our most recent visit in this April and we thank you!! 🤙🏽🫶🏽

One of the worst hotel experiences in years. Biggest problem was that we didn't receive a room key for a three night stay. Hotel staff had to escort us to our room each time. But hey, machines break, so let's look past that. Our room was not serviced once in three nights. Garbage was not emptied, towels not changed, you get it. Mentioned this to staff and they were not surprised nor did they care. Generally speaking the staff was friendly but incompetent and disorganized. There were several incidents with other guests and ourselves where they didn't know what was going on in their own hotel. Breakfast was lackluster with cold coffee and undercooked sausages. For nearly $200/night this hotel was a complete ripoff and had the quality of a motel 6 or lower.

Not pleased with this Springhill Suites. Others have been excellent. Breakfast was terrible. Poor quality, cold eggs, unedible sausage, stale bread. Rooms were average. Arrangement of furniture made it difficult to see TV. $5.12 PARKING FEE...|Very unnecessary as there are 2 Marriott properties on site. A tiny amount for a ludicrous charge ( in very small print ) on the confirmation

It was a quick stay but it was a good experience. Only stayed here one night because I had a quick flight to catch the next morning. When I got here, they were not busy and I got checked in right away. The room was basic but nice. It was clean and comfortable.

This should not be a Marriott. I've traveled for work over 20 years, one of my worst experiences. Unsafe location, thin walls and windows so you hear neighbors clearly as well as significant road noise, shabby and stained furnishings and carpet. Police sirens blared for most of one night. This seemed more like a poorly run Motel 6. Customer service was nonexistent, and front desk staff was outright rude. I had to switch rooms (never had to do this before) and the staff shamed me. I will never stay here again and you should not either. Would not bring kids here ever.
