Amazing experience. Sam (manager) was amazing! Perfect location, great property. My only complaint was the additional fees (pet and parking). I will definitely be adding Hotel Point Loma to my favorite places to stay in San Diego! Thank you, Sam and your entire team!

I've stayed here more than a few times and we love it. Sam at the front desk, he's the best. He always so helpful and accommodating for our family when we stay there.

THEY DONT REPLY FOR A REASON - THEY DONT CARE. I booked a stay from Feb 1, 2025 - Feb 4, 2025. I booked it last minute as we were in town for a family emergency. Checked in at 11:30pm - we’ll start there. The manager charged me for parking even though there was no spots so he told me park behind his car blocking him in as a makeshift spot and said he'll let us know when to move it out of the way. Went to the room it was FILTHY. There was a gum wrapper on the floor, hair in the bed, a burn hole on the sheets, everything was dusty and it didn't smell clean at all. There were BROKEN blinds in the room and bathroom where if someone walked by and wanted to look in they could (only curtains on two of the windows) it's already a stressful situation I was still willing to push past because how late it was. I turn on the shower and it INSTANTLY starts backing up and filling up the tub. I go to the office SAM THE MANAGER said he can't switch rooms there's nothing else available but offered extra towels !? (Wtf did he expect me to do with them) THEN I ask if I could just pay for the night and change my check out to the morning canceling the rest of my stay. HE SAID IT WAS TOO LATE TO CANCEL I COULD HAVE DONE IT 48 HOURS BEFORE THE BOOKING (how did I know I was going to have so many issues and I booked the reservation THAT NIGHT). Greedy cheap and selfish refused to cancel my upcoming days or issue a refund for the upcoming days. We left the hotel that night and paid for 4 days that we won't be there. Sam is the worst property manager and blamed it on "the manager" until I realized he was the manager because he mentioned it earlier and he snickered finding it funny and said yeah he manages the property.

I wanted to leave a review because there was so many bad reviews it made me worried when I first booked my room. My room was clean and AC kept it cool, there was no bad smells or bugs or anything dirty. My $100 deposit was refunded. Staff was kind and courteous. There was no noise or anything sketchy going on. It was the cheapest hotel in the area, room was less than $100 / night compared to 200-300 for others in the vicinity. For this reason, you shouldn’t be expecting something super fancy. Go pay more if you are. Location was awesome, very close to the water, restaurants and shops.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance was incredibly cozy and inviting, making it a very comfy place to unwind after a long day. What really stood out was how impeccably clean everything was; it was clear that great care is taken to maintain a pristine environment. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hygienic stay.

My experience . I reserved online. Be prepared to pay 100 deposit when you get there 25$ each day for a pet 10$ each day for parking/ THEY HAVE LESS PARKING THEN THEY HAVE ROOMS AND CHARGE YOU TO PARK IN THE HANDICAP PARKING SPOT even though we have a handicap placard So the total came out to 500 for 2 nights. There was no comforter No shower curtain The blinds were facing opposite way in bathroom Chunk of the blind in kitchen area was missing. Theirs mold in the shower. Aton of noise from upstairs in the middle of the night. Surprisingly no bugs.

The rooms are old, dirty, and HOT! Air conditioning is an OLD UNIT, that is on the floor right next to the bed, so it doesn't really cool. TV's are small, and older models, that only work for 30minutes, and then you have to reboot the whole system, and do it again every 30min. Mold in bathroom, windows don't open, and spiders crawl in through gap under door. Management is very uncooperative, and parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED! For the same price you can stay in any of the nicer hotels, right next door, or across the street! Don't waste your time or money here, you will regret it!
