Crossland Denver - Lakewood West

3000 miles in 6 days, just needed a place to stay to sleep and shower. Booked through Expedia without reading reviews. MISTAKE. As all the other reviews describe, this is like a motel that rents by the hour. Disgusting, but the topper was that my keycard didn't work. Went to get 6am coffee and gas, discovered could not get back into room. After hours number did not work, Expedia did nothing and denied me a refund. Never got back into the room, am having to dispute the charge with my credit card.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY PICTURES!! I would not recommend this hotel for ANYONE. I went 9/28-9/29 on a trip to see family in Denver, Colorado. This MOTEL was the most HORRENDOUS place I have ever been to. First off, we get there past 12am-1am. You have to call for someone to unlock the door, let alone the door was halfway hanging, did not shut properly. Took about 10 minutes to get someone from the front desk to answer their front desk phone. Checked in. Opened the room smelled like damp rat poop, cat poop, you name it! Entered the bathroom, a disgusting curtain that seemed not even washed for the past months. The sink had gunk around it, the toilet looked like it needed to be replaced. Go out to the bed, theres holes on the blankets, pillows flat as a PANCAKE. The T.V you could only watch certain channels. max of like 5. The AC unit was just horrible. A big loud VROOOOOOM is all your gonna get. The bed was uncomfortable. Theres not even a lamp or anything by the bed side. DISGUSTING, FILTHY, AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY WITH KIDS.

Office closed, had to call.. Rep arrived quickly, though. Did the paperwork, handed me the key. Walked across the complex to the room. Room under construction. Back to the office, rep didn't believe me, back to the room, then back to the office. New room key. Door lock not fully functional. Room was a suite. No A/C in the bedroom, no drinking glasses. Next time I'm staying elsewhere. Apparently this place is a resident hotel, with weekly rates, etc.

This was the weirdest motel stay and weirdest motel ever. The property should be demolished, actually, and rebuilt. Real life there is worse than the photos online. HOMELEESS EVERYWHERE. Some have rooms yet go in and out w carts doing homeless stuff(?). Loud behavior at night. Broke down cars full of belongings. People working on vehicles/motorcycles in parking lot directly in front of guests rooms...beating/banging. Was approached by people trying to sell me stuff. I could go on and on. Look, please pay a little more NOT to be disappointed. DO NOT STAY HERE. I'm not even a picky person but I REGRET picking THIS motel. I actually would find a place to go just to get away from the motel even when I needed rest. It made my vacation to Colorado kinda bad.

Staff is friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and clean. We did have a television that was a bit on the vintage side and the carpeting needed cleaning in a big way but otherwise everything else was decent for the price. There did seem to be a police presence everyday, for what I do not know but several times they arrived in force but I never was affected by whatever might have been happening nor were there any disturbances to speak of. They do have a laundry room, it's 2.25 to wash and 2.00 to dry.

The good: It was affordable|The bad: It was unsafe and dirty, not being maintained regularly.|The ugly: The office staff is hard to reach and since the location is unsafe they close the office early so if you arrive after 7 pm you can't check in. |They are also unwilling to be held accountable for the condition of the hotel as well as lack of service. Please do yourself a favor and pay the money for a safer stay.

The worst place I've ever stayed. Inside was disgustingly filthy. Description states that all guest rooms are non smoking. Smelled like an ash tray. Parking was almost non-existent. Staff was rude. TV did not work. Asked for a room change, they refused. Asked for a refund, they refused. This place was so bad I checked out in 30 minutes, yet they did not refund my $50 security deposit. I've reported them to the BBB and numerous other sites. This place is so shady they won't even publish their front desk number on the internet. The only number I could find was their corporate one, which was no help. Left some items behind and can't get them back. Horrible!!!!

If zero stars was a thing, I would give it zero ,or -5. This place is terrifying. I was afraid to even get out of car, I thought that if I had stayed either my car would get broken in to, or would be stolen. The guests were trashy, smoking, yelling, and dirty. It looked like homeless people stay there, and/ or that they deal drugs from the hotel. The front desk agent was not helpful. I wanted to cancel my reservation because as female, I was too afraid to stay there. He wouldn't cancel it or give me my money back. I paid for a night I didn't stay there. So unhappy.
