NillAmber and Howard, Cheyenne and the young man whose name we can’t remember at the front desk were fantastic! Lastly, the ladies running the breakfast kitchen were very nice. The room was well provisioned and spotless. It might be noted that the water in that area, not just the hotel, has a faint sulphur smell They have a full hot breakfast and put out board games, nachos and cheese, fresh popcorn made in their lobby “popcorn wagon” and Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in the afternoon around 5:00pm. They have a nice coin-op guest laundry which we used, in addition to a fitness center, which we did not. We have a new and very expensive vehicle and I had no concerns about it in their parking lot. There is a fenced pond outside the dining area windows where we watched ducks and geese swimming while we ate. All in all, we had a excellent stay of 5 nights and would absolutely return again if we ever get back diwn south.

NillAmber was awesome with check in had my room request ready and gift bag as a Rewards member 👍 Only issue I had was TV kept cutting in and out no signal no matter what channel I tried, PM shift lady said the hotel uses antenna, no cable which is shocking for the hotel to not provide cable service like any other hotels. Fresh warm cookies are good and popcorn made they have nice treats. They clean the common areas often are very good about it. There's a pond by the hotel can feed the ducks. It's a little tricky tucked away to find the hotel further back from the main road. You can feel safe once there theres a forest in the back of the hotel for quiet. I was disappointed with breakfast selection seemed limited when I was there but housekeeping staff and front desk are professional and helpful.

★If you are disabled or a veteran, please avoid this hotel. I live in Sarasota, Florida and left on Monday to evacuate my handicapped, 82 year-old father. My husband made the reservation on Sunday and followed up to confirm Monday morning. After an 8 hour stressful drive, I went in to check in at the hotel. The young lady at the reception desk mentioned a pet fee because we had 2 small dogs. I explained that whoever my husband spoke to said due the circumstances they would waive the fee. Then she explained my husband would have to fill out a form to allow me, his wife, to have the reservation without him because there were 3 people on it and she proceeded to email the form to him. I texted my husband to let him know we were having an issue with the reservation. This prompted him to call the hotel and speak to the manager. The young lady at the reception desk walked to the back room and returned 30 seconds later and said, “Your reservation is being canceled.” I was stunned. The very unprofessional manager came up behind her and said, “Your husband yelled at me on the phone. Your reservation is canceled and you are banned from staying at this hotel.” I was now shocked. I said my husband is not one to yell. I have driven 8 hours to evacuate from a hurricane with my disabled father. Please let me have the room. She responded with, “Well, people have been yelling at me and my staff all day and you are going to have to deal with the consequences of your husband’s actions!”|I left understandably upset. I never raised my voice or was disrespectful to her even though her behavior was reprehensible.|My husband did ask her to allow me and my father to get into the room and he would do what he needed to do with the form ASAP. I’m sure his voice was firm and full of concern. |First, this hotel denied access to my 82 year-old, handicapped father, who is also a Navy Veteran. The manager excused this by saying on the phone that the reservation was not under my father’s name. Apparently she needs training in the Americans with Disabilities Act.|Second, the manager was more than aware we were evacuating from the Sarasota, FL area due to a major hurricane.|On another note, since the hotel was sold out, I believe it would be safe to say whoever took our reservation paid two or possibly three times more than the $85 we were charged. Yes, the manager still charged for the reservation.|I will be contacting the state of George regarding all the aforementioned.|To the manager: I have copied this review as I suspect it will be deleted as soon as you can make it happen.

NillI can’t say enough positive things about this Comfort Suites. The staff, housekeeping, and breakfast were all outstanding. The folks working the front desk were incredibly helpful, and made us feel welcome. Any issue or questions we had were solved immediately. It was clear that the staff enjoyed working there, and were always doing something to keep the place clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I was so impressed to see the front desk mopping in down times, and every time we walked in, there was always a friendly face to welcome us back in. The location was not bad, with a 30 minute drive into Jacksonville, and an hour outside of Jacksonville Beach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in the area! Also, shout out to Kodi for helping us with our FEMA reservation and informing us of how many days left we had on our voucher. This was the best hotel experience we’ve had since being displace due to Tropical Storm Helene.

NillIt only took Amber 3 minutes to ban me from the hotel over the phone when calling for a CC authorization form. I never raised my voice, cussed or demeaned. We book travel for our crews all around the Southeast with few issues. Never have I ever been banned from a hotel! No worries though, plenty of other hotels in town that will appreciate our 65 room nights a month for the duration of the upcoming project in the area. Good thing we have several Bonvoy hotel options in the area.

★★Musty smell throughout. Old, uncomfortable bed and pillows. Towels well worn and smelly, like they were left is the washing machine for days and then dried. The room felt damp and I felt like I had slept in a tent all night. They had a dehumidifier in the room, but it wasn’t on. Water stains on all ceiling tiles and the Servpro repair crew were there, with their supervisor set up in the dining area, with computer , printer and the works. Business area is a small desk with computer and printer in the lobby with no privacy or work space. Shower had no place for toiletries and low shower pan, so no place to put foot to shave legs. Water was cloudy. And breakfast was subpar. Should have tried the Microtel. Next time!

NillIf I could give zero stars I would. I never stayed at this hotel, I was planning to stay there during my evacuation from Florida during hurricane Milton. I ended up needing to leave a day earlier than expected but the hotel did not have any availability. I booked on hotels.com with the fully refundable option and so using the online help option I canceled my booking prior, I was told I would not be charged. However, I was charged for 1 night by the hotel, not by hotels.com. I called multiple times to the hotel and spoke with several people who relayed messages to the manager who NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I got in touch with hotels.com and the confirmed they did not charge me it was the hotel. Another call I spoke with Amber, who played middle man between the manager and I, who stated that the hotel did not charge me either. I went back and forth and hotels.com told me they reached out the hotel and the manager would be in touch with me, which again NEVER HAPPENED. I understand to some that one night cost of a hotel might not be a lot but for someone who was out of work for a week and displaced from their home from hurricane Milton, it is everything. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of this manager. I would never recommend anyone booking here, you might get charged for something you never got.
