avid hotel Perry-National Fairground Area by IHG

Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. I did take off 1 star because the shower wasn’t cleaned very well. Breakfast has good options. Breakfast has a lot of grab and go options, breakfast sandwiches and egg white omelettes that were wrapped for “grab and go.” 4stars for breakfast, they ran out of milk and didn’t keep up with the breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. I did ask for some to be made, they took 22min to cook, but they were very nice and friendly about making them for us. We would stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located right off of the interstate. The desk staff were fast and efficient. I was recognized as a member and given a nice room on the end of the building. The entire hotel was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the towels were very soft. There were some hot options for breakfast which was nice and appreciated. I would stay here again. :)

We stayed here for the night on our way home to Florida and it was a really good experience. The hotel was well taken care of, from the parking area and grounds, to the inviting lobby, it gave a good first impression. Our room was spacious, with a modern, minimalist style that is perfect for short term stays. The bed was one of the most comfortable, with clean, soft linens and plenty of pillows that you could choose from firm or soft. Breakfast was good with sausage/egg biscuits, and yogurts - better than sugary breakfast items. Cofee, tea and hot chocolate is available 24 hours. They had a nice indoor pool, but we didnt get to use it.|Cassandra at the check in desk was the example of the kind of staff every hotel should have at their reception, friendly, welcoming and helpful.|This was our first time staying at an Avid hotel, and we'll be on the lookout for these properties from now on during our travels.

This Avid hotel was perfect for our family’s I-75 cross country stop from Michigan to Florida. Literally 1/4 mile from the highway, beds were super comfy, the sheets were soft (I hate how some hotels have noisy sheets!). ||Breakfast was free with plenty of it - bagels, breakfast bars, fruit, biscuit sandwiches, yogurt, boiled eggs and more. They also had a fresh coffee brewer and flavored creamer. ||It’s a budget hotel but definitely worth the stop if you just want somewhere nice and safe to sleep with good breakfast.

The hotel is modern with easy on and off to 1-75. I felt it could have felt newer and nicer if housekeeping tweeted nitty-griitty attentiveness. Light bulb burned out. Soap dispenser in shower empty. Grubby feeling floor .Freshening and details could really improve the stay. Good but has room for improvement. Comfortable bed. Nice television.

Great breakfast service. The women made extra sandwiches even though the time for breakfast was up. . Late check in good front desk. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Liked the fresh coffee. Would stay again.

We checked in at 10 pm, and the staff was okay. Although I'm an IHG member, they treated me like a non-member, and we didn't receive an upgraded room. (Should I have asked for it? He didn't seem interested, so I didn't bother.) The room was fine and clean, but there was a strong smell of carpet. The dryer was old and sticky, the room has carpet cleaning detergent smell. Breakfast was simple and tech-savvy, with an automatic pancake machine that the kids loved, and a coffee machine that I enjoyed. The room service staff was courteous. Overall, the hotel was okay and the price was reasonable. It was close to highway, convenient to drive

Customer service at the front desk was quick and friendly. The room was clean with high-quality bedding. Name brand essentials in the room was a nice touch. Staff was courteous and kind throughout the stay. Excellent amenities on site.
