Howard Johnson by Wyndham Perry GA

This hotel was disgusting. Roaches in the rooms stained bedsheets. Bed was hard as a rock. Lobby is not open in time to eat breakfast. They didn’t knock or anything walked right into our room and took our curtain's. About 2 hours later while we were still in here my daughter in the bathroom they walked in here and started vacuuming then proceeded to almost open the door on my daughter in the bathroom without knocking. Huge invasion of privacy. They took money out of our account 3 weeks before we arrived. The first room we got the beds felt like just box springs with out a mattress. This room also didn’t have a top lock which with 3 Daughters in an area I don’t know I was NOT okay with at all they did give us a new room and were nice about it. We got this hotel because of the pool so my girls could swim and the pool was down and they didn’t tell us before we got here. There was mold on the head board and the lamp was broken. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. “Award winning hotel” not sure how they got that name at ALL

I made reservations for a handicap room because I had knee surgery and told the gentleman that I could not get in and out of a bathtub so I definitely needed to walk in shower that was in the handicap room when I got there after a 5-hour drive guess what they did not have my room! I was livid the room is filthy there seems to be mold around the ceiling of the shower area and bathroom that light sockets that you plug things into wiggled when you try to plug something into it the wall switch when you walked in the room did not turn on the lights etc etc etc

This was a bad hotel. The bed had a lump in it. There was a cockroch in the bathroom. Extra pillow not available, the "indoor" pool and hot tub I would have had to go outside and in the office door, it was down for maintenance but it was full. The breakfast was not as listed. Only had waffle maker, cold cereal and OJ. No fruit nothing. The WIFI would not work for me. Shower head was very low, mu husband is 5'7" and he had to duck under. No tissues !

The lady at the front desk asked did we want a non smoking room or smoking room. She said for the non smoking room we had to pay $10 dollars. We declined. We went to the room and it was discussing and outdated. We went back to the front desk and gave her the $10 dollars. I’m going to look at my receipt from my credit card to see if we booked a nonsmoking room or not!! The room we did get was decent but still outdated. It had baby roaches, you had to turn the water off because the showers head didn’t have anywhere to hold it. The safe looked like it was from the old west. We only had two rolls of toilet paper for the entire week we were there. The towels looked beige. They had plenty parking.

We hesitate to stay at Howard Johnsons. We did a drive by as the location is so easily accessible and the price seemed right for our budget. The corners in the bathroom were even clean! Enough said.

BED BUGS!!!! Filthy rooms, hard beds, bad tv, nasty bathroom and BED BUGS!!! Way overpriced, no breakfast, broken glass in parking lot, been itching for 3 days because of the bugs. Worst Howard Johnson ever. This place needs to be shut down!!!! ***management responded to this post assuring me that the bug bites I have are purely in my imagination. That they spray regularly for bugs... This is a lie this person is a liar. I will be contacting Wyndham and the BBB. If that doesn't work I will take legal action. If I have anything to do with it, this motel will be shut down!!!

The room was horrible. Had a strong odor. Our sheets had stains on them. I let the lady at the front desk know and so the housekeeper came by. She was very rude. She only changed the top sheet, not even the bottom one that had the stains. Never stay here

The room was ok for a place to sleep. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 9:00 but was already mostly cleaned up by 8:30. They were annoyed I made a waffle after they cleaned up and griped for me not to drip. The orange juice is a powder mix. There was only cereal, the waffle maker, and 1 prepackaged honey bun available. The towels were stained and disgusting looking. There was no bath soap bar, only one small hand soap bar. The shower head is very low and I am only 5'3". The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were terrible! The room was dirty and had 2 old phones of which neither worked. I do not recommend and would not return.
