Econo Lodge - Perry National Fair Ground Area

Very clean and cute budget friendly place to stay the night. Free breakfast doesn't offer a huge selection but no complaints here, I'm a coffee only (for breakfast) kind of person so the selection of packaged blueberry muffins, bananas, make your own waffles, cereal, milk and juice was perfect for the kids and of course there is coffee as well. Thank you for your hospitality.

We chose this hotel because it had an indoor “hot tub” and pool. Prior to our arrival, we called and asked how late said “hot tub” and pool were open. We were told 11 pm with no forewarning anything was out of order. With our arrival being approximately 7 pm, we thought it’d be perfect, especially for our kids. When we arrived and checked out the pool area, the room was FREEZING and outside temperatures, definitely not usable for humans being 40 degrees. We walked over to said “hot tub”, that was also too cold for use. Very misleading. Another note in our short time before we decided to leave, the vending machines had products that expired in 2023… we were there 1/2/25. As far as the rooms, there’s nothing to note as we didn’t spend more than 5 minutes there.

Free breakfast, pet friendly and non smoking 🚬 rooms. 24 hours Front Desk Professional service to make you feel at home with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Just kick back and relax they make you feel at home away from home with very large beds. Econo lodge is next to a variety of restaurants with in walking distance and gas stations, Walmart, dollar tree, general dollars, nail salon and department store less in a mile. The lobby is very clean, the floors designs are breath taking and beautiful to see.|The owners are very loving, caring, and friendly with beautiful personality they make you feel at home.|The room rate don't worry" they got you. low reasonable rates with great satisfaction. The guest always come first i see they treat their guests with loyalty and respect. I rate Econo lodge with Excellency.

The rooms was very nice and clean. All the staff very nice. A lot of places to eat close by. Right off 75 very convenient. Has breakfast in the morning. Waffles are really good also cereal and bananas,pasterys,coffee,juice,milk. Not bad at all.

Stay away!! They flat out lie on their website claiming they have a "Heated Pool" and "Hot Breakfast". The pool is not heated nor do they have a hot tub. It is a pool that has a caved in ceiling that gets rained in. The "Hot" breakfast was 2 rotten Bananas and stale frosted flakes with a open and expired gallon of milk!!. The rooms and hallways smell like dog and cigarettes. The rooms are nasty and very outdated!! The blankets and sheets were covered in stains and Hair, The shower curtain had stains and nasty crusty stuff all over them.. When we called the front desk we were told "No Housekeeping". What a joke... without a doubt, we won't be back. Then to top it off. That morning before we left my daughter spilled some of her water bottle on the bed. 4 hours later we get a call saying he is charging us $50 because he has to take the mattress outside to air dry.. A water bottle being spilled on that bed probably did more good to thay nasty thing then harm. STAY AWAY! HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND..

Stopped here on our way to Florida. Rooms and bathrooms were big. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Old but nice hotel. Free waffles for breakfast. Friendly staff even at midnight, when we arrived.

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May for a dog show at the Fairgrounds. Joy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The rooms looked like they had recently been remodeled and were basic but clean (but there were pinprick holes in the curtains where the light shone through). The location was convenient and near several restaurants. However, the doors to each building did not require a key and the patio door to the outside wasn’t very secure (the lock didn’t work and the security bar was flimsily attached. This was an issue especially given the surrounding neighborhood). If I hadn’t been here with my hubby and two dogs I wouldn’t have felt safe (and I often travel alone). For me, feeling secure is paramount. In addition, the outside pool wasn’t heated and the water was cold. The hot tub didn’t work-the water was just as cold as the rest of the pool and the switch was broken. I booked here 4 months in advance primarily because it seemed like a good deal and I wanted a pool swim. You do get what you pay for so lesson learned. I hope management makes changes, especially with the security issues.

Checked in 31st Mar. This was the only hotel we could find that had a room on I75. Miss Joy on the front desk was a delight to deal with. Even though her system was down, and she was overworked, she warmly greeted us and made us feel welcomed. The next morning Angel at breakfast was just as endearing. The hotel was recently upgraded. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for what you received. The only thing I couldn’t quite understand was the bathtub wasn’t replaced with the renovations. Other than this one minor deficiency I have nothing to complain about. If in the neighborhood I would definitely stay again.
