Hampton Inn St. Simons Island

This was my third Hampton Inn within 3 days and it was by far the nicest and the best experience. For me, aside from location and nice building and so on is to have staff who are friendly and acknowledge that you are in their presence. It's a basic rule of customer service for any service provider. It was lacking in the other Hampton Inns, but this one was much better. I was beginning to think the Hilton brand was not for me. Aside from the better customer service, I enjoyed a very clean looking and clean smelling experience. I was looking for plain yogurt and a gentleman kindly tried to assist me and even looked in the back. Many of the staff in other hotels don't even look at you, never mind try to help you. I Do wish they were healthier, less carbohydrate, less artificial ingredient options, but I was able to cobble together a decent breakfast. Thanks for all you do guys.

Hotel is in perfect location. It could use an update but not terrible. Best of all were the staff. Front desk, breakfast and housekeeping were all so nice. Brianna in particular was so helpful and courteous. She recommended a wonderful spot for lunch.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. It was very quiet, peaceful, and well decorated. Staff was very friendly. Typical standard hotel breakfast if you prefer, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, etc. or short drives to a number of places for dining and shopping. Thought being by the airport would not be in a great area or loud, it was quite the opposite. Area was nice, lots of places to walk and shop. And I did not find being near the airport distracting at all. My next trip to St. Simons Island I would certainly stay here again.

Stopped here on way to Florida for one night. Rooms clean. Bed comfortable. Elevator was not working. Nobody called to let us know or ask if we could climb stairs. Front desk person was alone during check in time. She had to finish cleaning our room before we could check in. On the way back from Florida, one week later, we called to make reservations and were told that elevator was still not working and they could not guarantee us a room on the first floor. We stayed somewhere else.

Overall the room is very nice and this hotel is in a great location. Beds were very hard so if you like firm you’re good but if you don’t then I’d suggest bringing a mattress topper. The pillows… omg where do I start? These pillows initially appeared to be fluffy and comfy but unfortunately deflate in the night so while we had like 5 pillows on our bed we basically had a bunch of pillowcases by the time we woke so definitely bring your own pillows. If you are told you are in room 26 tell them you want a different room because it’s right next to the gym like on the other side of the wall so you will hear thumping and banging as people work out. Breakfast is actually very good, waffles, bacon, eggs( tasted to be real not powdered) oatmeal and cereals and a large assortment of bagels n breads n muffins so we were pleased with that. All in all it was a very nice stay nice big tv that we enjoyed at night. And if you stay here check out the goodwill across the street it’s amazing!!!

This was my first time staying at this hotel. My stay was excellent. The front desk staff where very nice and friendly my room was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was good I will stay here again in the future..

Very clean comfortable room. Some parts are dated but have done some partial renovations. Towels were old and faded. Lighting in bathroom was very good. Stayed one night this trip. Love St. Simons for getaways and the stay was comfortable, clean, and a good location.

Do not stay here. 11/11-11/13/24 The staff is unprofessional and this hotel is unsafe. I booked my son into this hotel. They inappropriately marked him as a no show and gave another guest a key to his room and the other guest walked into the room while he was in it! They did extra charges. To resolve an issue will take your time, they do not listen to the issue to fix the problem. I am taking time to write this because I don't want it to happen to you. I love Hampton's too but definately not here. Horrible experience.
