Amazing little spot downtown! I live in Moscow and didn't even know this spot existed, but so glad I discovered it online for a night out. Spacious, stylish, and so comfortable. Loved being able to just walk to my favorite cafe for breakfast! Super helpful communication and customer service as well. Thanks so much!

Loved our room. Gorgeous. Loved the location too and access was super easy. The hot water in the shower was warm at best, and yes, we followed the directions. :) Also, the main door is not closing properly, so we had to pull it closed to ensure that it locked. Also, please consider some coffee creamers for the wonderful coffee you provided. We'll be back.

To say that we were blown away by this little boutique hidden gem would be an understatement. Colter's Creek spared no expense in making this little 4 room hotel and it shows. I've never stayed in a hotel with such soft, comfortable sheets and towels. My wife and I rented the Merlot room along with the Riesling room for our daughter and her husband. The Merlot room has a private bedroom with a living room area and dining table which worked great for us all to hang out in our down time. The bathrooms are just incredible and though it is pretty new, only opening this past summer, the rooms are incredibly clean. The rooms are very quiet and relaxing, it's like being in a 5 star luxury resort. The Merlot room also had amazing views of Main Street where we were able to watch the University of Idaho homecoming parade. Being downtown also had a great advantage to be able to just walk to our favorite restaurants for lunch and dinner, just a block down from both Maialina and Lodgepole. There is no staff on the property, on the morning of your arrival you receive an email with your door code to get you in, though the hospitality director has a very welcoming letter in the room with his contact information just in case you need more shampoo or whatever. You would expect to pay $300 a night for a place like this but their rates are very similar to other hotels in Moscow. ||||We also loved the eco-friendly aspect of this hotel as well. Their shampoo, conditioner and body wash is the eco-friendly pods which is weird of first, but we ended up loving it. Their coffee is delicious, not that cheap stuff in other hotels and apparently it is roasted locally out of a little town near by. The bar soap is just down right amazing and is local as well. We didn't use both bars so we could take one home to order more online for our house. ||||Sitting right above Colter's Creek tasting room was also great as we were able to enjoy a couple glasses of wine and relax while watching people walk down the street. The guy that was working in the tasting room was really good about finding me a glass of wine as well. Wine is my wife's thing so I'm impressed he found something I would enjoy as well. ||||The only real con is the parking situation. Parking in the back lot over night and on weekends isn't a problem but if you are there during the week between 8am and 5pm, you will need to move your car every three hours. This is really just a city issue and I can't blame the hotel for that. ||||If you are coming to Moscow or the Palouse region in general, you need to visit Colter's website and book a room in this place.

This was probably the most enjoyable stay we have ever had! The rooms are huge and incredibly clean. Right above their tasting room in downtown Moscow. Close to restaurants and unique little shops. We came down for a little getaway and we will be doing it way more often. It's run a little more b&b style where there is no staff on the property but if you need something they are just a text away, you receive your door code the day before you come in and then you can come and go as you please.

The Hattabaugh Hotel was first rate in every way! My family had the pleasure of staying several days in two of the four chic rooms and couldn’t have had a better experience. So many little touches that really made the experience special, from eye sleep masks to artisan soaps. The location is perfect, in the heart of downtown Moscow within walking distance of fun boutique shops, restaurants, and plenty of coffee shops. The service was excellent and immediate when there was any question or concern. We will definitely be staying at the Hattabaugh again!

Booked the Merlot room for a quick getaway. Room was great. Your are up in the trees of Main Street with the lights outside. Some noise but nothing to loud. Ordered pizza and brought it back to the room and enjoyed it with our wine we purchased from downstairs. In the morning we enjoyed the provided coffee and picked up breakfast from down the street. Came home relaxed and ready for another work week. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great sizes, larger than the regular hotel room. This is right in the heart of downtown Moscow so you are close to all the best restaurants like our personal favorite Casa Lopez. This will be our new place to stay when we come to town.
