NillWe stayed at hotel EMC2 several weeks ago for 6 days, and it was so so nice very up-to-date. The rooms were kind of small but nice, I love fact the shower was in the middle of the room which is kinda neat. I’ve never seen that before, I didn’t have to get up to change the temperature of the room and control all the lights from the bed with the TV remote, that helps when you’re already snuggled up in bed. I love the location of the hotel because it was right off Michigan Ave and very walkable to a lot of a different places. We didn’t have to use Uber unless it was pretty far from the hotel! The best part of our stay was my favorite front desk staff Jacquelyn she was amazing!!! She was very attentive, very sweet, kind and professional, she gave us a list of restaurants to choose from that was relatively close to the hotel which was helpful because this was my first time in Chicago. Every encounter we at this hotel with nothing short of amazing, everyone was very kind very sweet. The hotel was clean. Housekeeping was amazing 10 out of 10. Mr. Aubrey was very kind to help us obtain a taxi to the airport prior to our departure from the hotel. He was extremely helpful! We felt very welcome at this hotel, If you want to find a place that’s niche, clean and technologically up-to-date, with great service is the hotel for you!

NillA Thoughtfully Designed Stay in a Prime Location Hotel EMC2 is a gem in downtown Chicago—perfectly located for exploring the city. While the lobby isn’t much to write home about, the rooms more than make up for it. They’re artistic, well-composed, and genuinely comfortable. The bathroom is solid, with great lighting throughout—something surprisingly rare even in higher-end hotels. What stood out most were the small, thoughtful touches: plenty of lighting when you need it, and the ability to control it right from the bedside. That may sound minor, but it adds real convenience and comfort to the stay. The highlight, though, the robot that delivers small things like toiletries! I love it when companies embrace technology!

★★★★★This hotel is definitely a game changer! I am going to start with the amazing staff. Destiny checked us in and her bubbly and welcoming personality started everything off wonderfully. She gave us a full explanation of the property and its design. Destiny introduced our 10 year old son to Mr. Leo and Mrs. Cleo. They are the robots that bring water, towels, room service, etc to your room. She was so sweet that she even demonstrated how they worked and sent Leo to our room although it wasn't ready just to show my son. Destiny was lovely and definitely helped us kick our vacation off with a smile and some laughs. Jaqueline and Deja worked the evening shift the day we checked in and we saw them throughout our stay on other days as well. They are the DREAM TEAM! Full of life, personality, knowledge on good places to eat in the area and going above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. They are definitely ladies you want at the front desk to greet guests. Jaqueline is a ray of sunshine that makes you feel like family. We had the most delicious breakfast at The Albert with Elizabeth as our waitress. Another sweet and super attentive staff member. She made such an impression that we made sure to ask to sit in her section each time. ||Now on to our room. It was absolutely perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed that it is a smaller Marriott property and that it was science and arts driven. The room was immaculate and everything was in perfect condition. Our housekeeper Andrea did a great job daily. There are so many details to take in within the rooms and the property itself. We had a double bed city view room and had zero complaints. ||The location is great! Everything is nearby and within walking distance. Close enough to Michigan Avenue but a couple blocks away so you don't have to deal with too much hustle and bustle from a lot of tourists. ||We will most definitely be back to see Destiny, Jacqueline, Deja, Elizabeth and of course our robot friends Leo and Cleo! The hotel and their staff exceeded our expectations. We have been to quite a few hotels in our time and this one is a stand out for sure!

★★★★★We did a "staycation" for our anniversary at Hotel EMC2 and it was exceptional. Staff was friendly & welcoming. Our room #702 was great. I loved the style of the room. Room was super quiet. Hardly any outside noise at all. Bed was super comfy. In the morning, we grabbed brunch at the Albert restaurant and it was easily one of the best brunches we've had. This will be our "go to" hotel for any local stays.

NillWhat a hidden little gem in the city. The amazing options of restaurants and shops and excitement surrounding the hotel was perfect for the family. The style and energy of the atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. Live music in the bar and excellent and accommodating service at the front desk!

★★★★★This was my second stay at the EMC2 Hotel in Chicago and it was an exceptional one. ||The room I had (1005) was a very nicely sized King Room with ample space, high quality materials and very aesthetically pleasing appointments (I particularly like the lighting choices, wall decor and use of unique metal "cage-like" doors on the closets). The restaurant/bar area is also beautifully appointed and inviting after a very long day of meetings and such. It's designed to make you want to spend time there, and I did during my visit. I also used the gym facilities which, while small, had all of the essential elements I needed to maintain my workout. ||What was particularly enjoyable about this experience, however, was the service I received, specifically from the front desk agent Jacqueline ("Jackie"). She was professional yet warm and personable and provided me with a lovely welcome upon check in. Each time she saw me after that (I was there for three days), she always greeted me warmly and energetically. You don't always get that level of kind, personal service and I appreciated it greatly. ||Looking forward to my next stay!
