Hampton Inn Joliet - I-55

Very pleasant king room with a smart TV!! Pretty nice shower with a flat drain - very clean- and super clean bathroom and room. Supplies for showering were very nice and neutral scented - "zero" brand shampoo, conditioner and soap that I really liked. We stayed one night, on a road trip but would definitely stay longer if we were in town longer. Will come again if we are in Joliet again!

The rooms were clean and updated. There wasn't really anything over the top to make it exceptionally outstanding. It was definitely up to par. The staff we interacted with were courteous and helpful. The location is near many restaurants so it easily to find something good for meals and they do serve breakfast. I would definitely recommend this location.

I do not have one complaint about this hotel. The room was perfect, everything conveniently placed,clean and comfortable. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful of all the many places we have stayed.

This Hampton Inn was very pleasant to stay at for me and my family. The breakfast was great and the service was phenomenal! The ladies at the front desk were very polite and helpful especially Betty. The only critic I have is to somehow block the noise of traffic from the highway. I didn't sleep very well because of it. Perhaps incorporating fans to go in the rooms for some white noise to block out the sound of traffic. Other than that, I would love to visit again!

Was first given a room on the 3rd floor that was dirty, had to go back down to get assigned a new room. The most troublesome scary part of the stay was the front desk breach of security; this was the interaction to get a room key - Night Agent: "What room?" Guest: "[Gave Room #]" Night Agent: "[Confirmed name unprompted]" - Room Keys made and given without any question as to confirming name or showing ID. TV also wasn't getting channels, had to get maintenance up next day to fix TV. Bathroom sink slow to drain, pulled old contact lens container out ourselves to alleviate slow drain. Noisy and next to highway, yet convient to a lot of locations. Would not stay again. Staff needs better training as to not let access to any given room number without verification.

From the start our stay was not so good. At check-in my aunt had me as her guest she secured the room for me as a gift. I showed my ID and the front desk clerk said the original credit card was needed . I called my aunt and she had to complete a credit authorization form and email it before he would give me the keys. She wasn’t there yet. The ice machine was broken on our floor. Then the phones didn’t work, at all for the 5 days we were there. I was followed to the gym, I believed by a staff member. Stared at during breakfast and not to mention the water either had low pressure or didn’t work at all two days in a row we had to shower at a relatives home and told the water would be off for 5 hours. The staff were ok because everything that happened was out of their control but I know I will not stay there again. My aunt is a Hilton honors member and there should be above and beyond amenities. I can say the breakfast was very good and the entrance area was clean.

A warning to everyone who is thinking of staying at this hotel, DON'T . My wife just stayed at this hotel over the weekend and was woken by someone trying to get in through the door. thankfully it was locked. then the front desk called and accused her of not being a guest of the hotel even though this was her second night of her stay. This was at 11:45 pm unbelievable. She gave them her confirmation number at had no apology from the front desk. When she confronted them in the morning when checking out, they showed little sign of being apologetic. The incompetence of this hotel is off the scale, stay at this hotel at your own risk.

All of the people at the counter that I dealt with on an 8 day stay was awesome . The couple times I ate breakfast . It was very good . The hotel was clean . BUT ..... the room service kept throwing things away that I didn't want thrown away . Then the manager Greg Kowalsky emailed me and informed me that my service dog ruined the duvet cover and then he added the pet fee to my bill . He said they wash the cover and put it back on my bed . He actually said she ruined 2 covers . I took pictures of the cover and there are NO stains on it . He needs to be gotten rid of before he pulls that with the wrong person and they get a law suite . He thinks just because he is in management he can do anything he wants . Will not go back because of him . The company I work for has alot of work there and 2 techs are going to be there staying in hotels . My bill was $1,000.00 . So they just lost that money every week because of him .
