Fairfield Inn Joliet South

They charge for parking. It's Joliet ... Why?? They also advertise a gym but there's no gym on site. They should take down the fitness center photos because it's extremely misleading. Honestly, this feels like a hotel that charges per hour. Update: The photo of the fitness center is under amenities on this Google page.

I don't understand the negative reviews posted here. Our experience was wonderful. The room was very clean, and the only lack was we would have liked to have a comfortable chair in the room. The breakfast was superb (fresh, good quality, healthy options) and the buffet had everything needed for a diabetic. All the staff were very cordial and supportive and helpful.

A person should not have to travel many miles away and stay at a room where you have to constantly complain of loud music and banging all night and morning! All i wanted was peace and sleep and couldn't get none of that! Due to capacity, they refused to switch my room so they claim! I will NEVER stay here again. They are not strict and do not care of how customers feel about wanting peace! Then to top it off, you gotta call front desk over 100 times in order for them to even answer the phone. So unprofessional here!

Nice location off I-80, and with Cracker Barrel next door you can easily get a proper breakfast vs the free hotel one. My King room had been remodeled, with new carpeting & TV, but some items were left as-is, like the bathroom light that automatically turns on the very-noisy fan.

I called them on Monday to ask them what my total price would be for my stay on Saturday, as I had a dog with me and needed to know all fees and hidden crap that hotels hide til you get there. Told about a $20/night incidental fee and that's all. Drive 5 hrs to the hotel to be hit with a $100 pet fee. After talking to front desk they were willing to lower to $50 but that's just not good enough. Your employee gave wrong info and I didn't budget for those extra fees. That's why I call ahead of time!

Each employee from front desk, housekeeping and kitchen staff were incredibly kind and helpful. For breakfast being included, we were pleasantly surprised-yogurt, milk variety, juice, bagels, muffins, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage and Belgian waffles. Room was very clean and the whole place smelled exceptionally fresh. Comfortable beds, pillows and linens. 10/10 would stay again, we called it our hometel. Home away from home.
