Candlewood Suites Joliet Southwest, an IHG Hotel

I enjoyed my stay. It was beautiful, super clean, quiet and in a great location. Need to improve the quality of towels. They were hard and old. Also need a real ice bucket and bar tools in the room. The refrigerator made a strange noise and the channels on the Tv were mostly religion and sports. Please add updated movie channels or streaming channels to tv options. Other than that it was great and I’d recommend it and stay there again

Aside from the guests across from us smoking weed we had a great stay at this hotel. The beds were uber comfy and everything was very clean and freshly made. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Went for a nice Valentines trip and for the most part had a good time. Aside from the fridge barely keeping temp for our food and having to throw most of our meat out before eating it. And the final morning after confirming a late check out having staff saying I needed to contact the front desk right at 11 when it was marked in our notes. Same as last time. It’s very welcoming up until you are leaving and than they are rushing you out waiting outside the door for right when you step out. Seeing this isn’t the first time we stayed and the same thing had happened the last… but check in was nice and smooth, the amenities are amazing, and staff at check in and bartender was incredible

Parking on a busy night might be a bit of a challenge. Clean outside. Great lobby too. There is a sauna to use as well. Room is great. Little kitchenette too.

Conveniently located right off the expressway. The hotel was beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Having room service was nice especially after a long day of driving.

First I check in and then the elevator was not working. The representative did not share that information get to the room after check in and the room have a very nasty smelll and dirty. Go back to front desk get a sign a different room it was nasty and then I ask to speak with a manager to see if I can get to the other hotel holiday inn express in the other side. The manager said no. So she hi the. Room and the room was okay. She give me points think that is okay. I am unhappy I will like for someone to call me about this room and receive my refund for at least a night stay. Very nasty place to sleep. House keeping need to do their job.

If you're planning a long stay away from home, look no further. I spent about a month and a half at this place and it was very comfortable and spacious. I only hit the gym twice (lol), but they also have a sauna and a restaurant that I never got around to trying. If I ever find myself in the area again, this is definitely where I'll stay—whether for business or with family. I had a suite with a kitchen and I enjoyed every moment of it. Plus, I connected my game console to the TV, so I always had something to do whenever I got bored. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I arrived at the hotel around 3:20 PM, and Susan assisted me at check-in, assigning me to Room 315. Upon entering the room, I noticed the sheets were dirty. I immediately called the front desk, and Mat informed me he would contact housekeeping. After waiting 15 minutes without an update, I went to the front desk to follow up. Susan then offered to switch me to Room 418, but unfortunately, that room was not in better condition. At that point, I asked to return to my original room with fresh sheets. Susan assured me the sheets would be changed within 20 minutes. However, it was not until 4:30 PM that I could finally settle into the room.
