Travelodge by Wyndham Lansing IL

I was disappointed with the condition of the bathroom and overall esthetic, paired with the humid and musty air that had an unpleasant smell and didn’t seem to get truly cool. The roaches seemed to be getting worse and I suggest that they have a pest control company come put it back in check. Hotel manager was nice at first, but got rude, pushy and abrasive towards the end of our stay.

The hotel looked good from outside. Thats why i decided to stay there. But oh my god! The rooms were so bad! I stayed in non smoking room, still it was smelling like sweat. The carpet was dirty and damp. The bathroom was unclean. There was no phone in the room. Everything in the room was so old. It felt like, they could break down in a moment. The blanket felt unclean. I paid 70 for this! I have stayed in other places with similar pricing, but none of them were so horrible! Moreover, the place was so creepy. Suspicious people were standing in the stairs all the time. Horrible experience. I wish i could give it 0 star.

Really bad customer service, wifi doesn't work for laptops for no reason at all, rooms are disgusting, cleaning sucks, water leaks badly, holes in the walls

This is a budget hotel. Remember that. You are paying 65 a night. You are paying for a bed and furnishings that have seen better years. If you believe anything else, you are deluding yourself. End of story. In terms of a BUDGET stay, 65 is a fair price in 2024. Room is adequately furnished with dated furnishings. Cleanliness is ok. Nit great, but ok. Saw no signs of roaches or the like. Mattress is firm. Curtains are not great for blocking sunlight so request an odd number room if that's an issue. Non smoking is 3rd floor only, so keep this in mind. Highway access for price is good. Staff is cordial but not chatty. I will only recommend this for quick overnight stays, however, as it is not particularly secure.

Worst place to book they accused me of smoking and I don’t smoke all because he said he don’t trust me the nerve of this place if I did smoke I’d ask for a smoking room!

I wanted an inexpensive place to stay for the weekend, just in town to see a friend's sporting event. I had read all the negative reviews beforehand but thought "it can't be that bad, right?" and decided to check it out for myself.||||It was absolutely disgusting. I literally just wanted a clean, comfortable room to sleep in, wasn't looking for a ton of amenities. The entire building smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. There were mysterious stains on the chair in the corner of the room, along with A TOOTHBRUSH?!?!? sticking out from the chair (picture included). The bathtub looked filthy and I didn't feel like I could trust the bed to be clean either. Oh, and the nice looking pictures they have up on their website? It does not look anything remotely like that. There is no nice lobby, there is an attendant behind glass in a small, dumpy check in area. Everything was outdated (which could be fine under different circumstances) and the place just felt really seedy.||||I ended up going to a different hotel, I wish I had just planned for that sooner. I highly recommend steering clear of this hotel.

Love the entire staff along w the motel. It's not the Hilton by any means but it's decently priced w great service!!

I know It hard for any motel or hotel to double check all of their guest. However when you have escort listed the name of motel their turning trick at. Maybe some one at your business should check it out In fact you can see this Today 7/6/24 on Chicago List Crawler
