Hyatt Place Chicago/Lombard/Oak Brook

Me and my family of 4 loved our stay here during 12/29/24-01/01/25. I have a disabled sister and from past experiences from other hotels, we aren’t really accommodated with the right rooms or appliances. She is in a wheelchair and we now have a new addition to our family, my 15 month old daughter. So we definitely needed a spacious room to fit two strollers plus luggage. I booked the two queen suite room and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room was very spacious and clean enough for my daughter to crawl around. The breakfast was delicious and hot when we went down, most places that is not the case. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The area is beautiful and we appreciated the fact we were located around different restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and other shops. Yes it’s a bit of a way from downtown Chicago but we rather that than to pay 3x the price just to be downtown. The only thing we wish was to have access to a microwave in the room.

This hotel stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was spotless, spacious, and had an amazing view. I especially loved the comfy bed and the luxurious bathroom. The hotel's amenities were top-notch. I spent a relaxing afternoon at the pool and enjoyed a fantastic workout in the well-equipped gym. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight – every dish was prepared to perfection. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I can't wait to come back!

This hotel was filled with friendly staff and kindness inside. It was very warm feeling that I’ve forgotten these days. Property maintained clean and efficiently. Our room was big enough for two adults and a kid. Times like this, AI does all the jobs that people used to do however as a human-being I miss humanity more than ever. Human needs a job to do to continue to live for their existence. Thus, this hotel even though their facilities were not so new but because of this warm atmosphere in it, I recommend to others. Also, their pool was clean and quiet which was very good for a little boy.

I had a wonderful time! Fantastic staff and great facilities! I stayed here the first week of June in 2025. Breakfast was fantastic! I really appreciate how clean everything looked. It felt very formal. I work 10 out of 10 recommend! The concierge, I think her name was Jenny? She was working June 7th. Every time I asked her a question throughout the week or needed help, she was phenomenal! I hope I didn't get her name wrong. I would definitely come back!

I am attending a work conference this week and staying at this hotel, which is beautiful and well-kept. But what truly sets it apart—what the other hotels lack—is Patty at the front desk. Patty is, without exaggeration, the kindest person I have ever met in hospitality. She is warm, professional, honest, and deeply ethical. Her presence brings a sense of peace and trust to this place. She treats each guest with such genuine care, you’d think we were family. Because of her, I will 100% stay here again. The hotel is wonderful, yes—but it’s Patty who makes it unforgettable.

This place far exceeds a 3 star review. The manager Abe and his staff were so gracious to us and our high school choir students. They fed a great breakfast that varied from day to day. They bent over backwards for any need we might have had (including laundering our tour shirts). The hotel was clean, spacious, and pleasant.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and cozy, and the location was perfect close to everything but still quiet. The amenities were great, and breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely stay here again!
