The entire building smells like cigarettes and weed, and the rooms smell absolutely awful. There was hair on the bed, and visible mold in the bathroom. I understand that it’s a budget hotel, but that doesn’t excuse the appalling state of the rooms and abandonment of cleanliness. The Baymont 100ft away is a much better option for only slightly more per night, and serves breakfast unlike this hotel. The staff at the front desk did make an effort to come and clean the room after I let them know I’d be checking out, and was apologetic, but I cannot trust anything about that place after what I saw.

Honestly, the best hotel in the area for the money. Love chatting with the staff. Clean rooms and everything worked great. Stayed 3 weeks while working on the road. Would stay again.

This hotel is legitimately disgusting. The entire second floor smells like cigarettes. Aside from the smell, there were 2-3 inches of what looked to be water damage on the door and torn carpet. The beds were made up nicely but the entire place seemed generally dingy. We were going to be staying with a 2 year old and 5 year old and there was just no way. We checked back out and drove the rest of the way home. From the less than 5 minutes we were in the room, my mom and I both had headaches, that’s how strong the smell was. When we told the man at the counter that we couldn’t stay because of the smell, he offered to spray Febreze. I declined and asked him if he could do any refund and he said the best he could do was refund the deposit ($50, to ensure no one is smoking in the rooms). Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Motel 6 is such a shit show will not take care of your room or trash! Econo Lodge treated us great! Housekeeping is friendly and are doing their best!

Terrible Experience: Bed Bugs and Roaches!** I recently stayed at Econo and had an absolutely horrendous experience. From the moment I walked into the room, I noticed it was far from clean. However, the real nightmare began when I found bed bugs in my bed and roaches crawling in the bathroom! The bed bug bites were painful and itchy, and I spent the rest of my stay feeling extremely uncomfortable and paranoid. Despite bringing this to the attention of the hotel staff, they were unhelpful and dismissive. No effort was made to address the issue or compensate for the inconvenience and distress caused. The overall hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel were appalling. This place is a health hazard, and I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. Avoid Econo at all cost

Positive: The couple that run it! They're awesome. Everyone is very accommodating. Negative: Rooms on 2nd floor are in need of a face-lift. Had trouble with temperature control; damp carpet; one sheet nasocally.

Positive: The person at the desk was helpful and friendly. Negative: I wasn't expecting a charge on my card again at check in. She explained that it was a incidental charge of $50 but the charge on my card was over $50 and I am still waiting for that hold to be released.

Reserved/paid for room through Priceline. Got to the hotel 1)charged me an extra $50 deposit for the room (supposed to refund it to me if room is ok, but still haven't received it back...and the room was fine when I left). 2) apparently they don't recognize ESA dogs, even if you show papers. So I was charged and extra fee for my dog to be there too. Please be aware of these extra charges when booking with this hotel.
