We stayed here the other week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Motel in a great location on a hill overlooking a good amount of Dulurth towards the east. Room was very good and comfy with the king and sofa bed. | Breakfast was very good and I must say the pancake machine, is really Cost effective and quick way to grab a few cakes for breakfast, with no messing around with waffles. ||The front desk lady Piper was very nice and outgoing keeping an eye on things on the breakfast end. Needed to extend our stay due to an injury I got out and about, and she handled extending our request very good. Americinn is kind of like a great home base for going places, dinning and sightseeing. | Numerous dinning places within several miles of the hotel. I can see why they won awards for the last few years and it shows in the friendly hotel staff and the outgoing in welcoming you in when your back from your day trip. ||Overall I would highly recommend this property.||Go Enjoy|Snowman724

Positive: I enjoyed the King studio suite, it was very spacious. Negative: Fridge freezer compartment was full of frost making it useless. TV would have been better in front of couch instead of bed, but it did swivel just enough that it was ok to watch from couch. If they lengthened the coax cable it would be even better

Management is very helpful and pleasant to work with when the competitor was not. Allowed us an early check since we didn't have any water at the competitor for over 15hrs. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the clean comfortable room.

Like Motel 6, when you close your eyes and sleep it’s all 5*. Unlike other hotels, though, clean sheets, well stocked bathrooms, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, thank you Piper!, and a fresh, tasty, awesome breakfast to start the day. My bonus? Uninterrupted sleep and waking up because I slept so well. Thank you!

Convenient location. Very friendly staff. First hotel in FOREVER that served real eggs for breakfast👍🏻Very good!! Clean room…BUT one star off for noisy heater & the fan in the bathroom runs the second you turn on the bathroom light & finally stops when you turn off the light. No reason to listen to that fan! Very noisy. Very irritating!!

Very nice and clean rooms. Only would have liked beds to be a little softer but not terrible. Would be nice to have a hot tub also, but this is a very nice place to rest your head. Would definetly stay here a 3rd time!!

Already completely paid for online but was still asked to swipe my card during check in which in return I got double charged! Was there with a few other families for a basketball tournament, while the kids were in the pool us adults were being harassed by staff because we had beverages in the pool area (not glassware). There was NOTHING which stated “no food, no drinks” anywhere. So we were forced to sit in the breakfast area to socialize, and still got scolded a few times for being loud during daytime hours then eventually kicked out. Staff is completely rude and the breakfast was disgusting. Never again.

Excellent staff and convenient location - definitely one of the better places to stay while in Duluth (and I've been through the area multiple times). Breakfast options were decent for a continental breakfast, pool was operational, workout room had some good options - overall, it's a nice hotel.
