NillWe stayed in the Billiards suite for 3 nights. While the mansion itself is beautiful, I did have a few concerns about my stay. I posted my initial review detailing my concerns, and Chad, the manager, reached out to discuss with me. He was able to acknowledge my concerns and offered a resolution that was acceptable. I appreciated the direct communication and sincerity in his efforts to make things better. We will be back for another try, because we knew with a few tweaks our next stay would be better. Thanks Chad!

★★★★★Mansion was so beautiful. It was an incredible stay for myself and my wife. We had pastry that were just to die for in the morning, and the jaccuzi tub was so great. Perfect location close to everything, lots of shops and restraunts in canal park just a few minutes away.

NillBeautiful historic home, now an Airbnb in a lovely East Duluth neighborhood. Quiet and elegant. The Cotton Mansion was built by Joseph Cotton, the attorney for Rockefeller in the early 1900's. Elegant Italian plaster work, intricate wood carved beams, grand stairway, many bedrooms to choose from, nearly every room has a grand fireplace. Full of historic details. I was there for a seminar, so I do not know about the service.

NillDid not stay at the mansion but took part in thr Murder Mystery Dinner. The people who put it on were very friendly and very talented. Held a lot of people and everything went smoothly. Only down fall personally for me was, the food was a little on the fancy side and did not go with my kind of tastes. However the steak was amazing. The rest i could have done without. All in all a great night and a wonderful experience. Definitely will be going again.

NillAttended a murder mystery at the Cotton Mansion. It was a lot of fun meeting new people and participating in the games and solving the murder. For the price I was very disappointed in the food. I do not eat red meat and there was only one choice of the meal. It would have been nice to get a choice ahead of time ex: either prime rib or chicken breast. It’s a beautiful place and it was fun seeing how the “other half” lived.

NillWow doesn't describe the beautiful historic Cotton Mansion! I'm in town on business and was looking for something to do and found the Murder at Cotton Mansion event. And I had a lovely time. The food was great. The event fun. Staff was nice. What a great event!

NillMy husband and I chose to stay at this boutique hotel for our 10 year anniversary, and we were thrilled with our experience. The room we stayed in, the Selma Louise Suite, included a massive jet tub, a spacious bathroom, and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The mansion appeared to be beautifully restored in its original style, further lending to its charm. The grounds were well kept and lush with foliage. Its location near the waterfront was convenient and picturesque. We would highly recommend this as a romantic getaway destination.

NillWent to a murder mystery dinner here. The casino games were fun! The chef dinner was not the best. The murder mystery had some entertaining points but left a lot to be desired. Some of the courses were not good at all. The tickets were $150 each. It was not quite there, in my opinion.
