Hampton Inn Minneapolis-Roseville

Pleasant and quiet stay at this hotel. I found the rooms to be very clean with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The pillows were soft and not very supportive, so if you like a more firm pillow, may want to bring your own.||Nice large breakfast area with plenty of seating and good breakfast selection.

A fine hotel located near plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and access to the highway. We stayed here on a visit to University of Northwestern. It was an easy drive about 10 minutes away. Hampton Inn never disappoints. This hotel lived up to their standard. Solid breakfast as well.

Great hotel, rooms were clean, bed was great, pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast also great. Only reason I did not give it 5/5 was the fact they did not have drink vending machines.

I stayed here for a quick weekend. I have stayed at many Hampton inns. The positive with this hotel is we had a two clean suite. The room was very nice. It was big. It was clean. I did like the room. Outside of that the staff was horrible. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and have always checked in via the app. I always check in do the digital key choose my room and I'm done. I am unsure why this property forced me to come to the desk and hand them a credit card yet my credit card was in the app. They gave me room keys because the digital key did not work right away. Regardless of that the staff behind the counter when I checked in was rude the staff making coffee in the morning was rude. I was very very very very very very disappointed in this property. I've stayed at multiple Hampton Inns and never had a problem. I don't understand why I was charged an extra $25 or $30 for incidentals. Yes it came back off my card but again I always check in via the app with my card in the app. Yet I was forced to hand them my card when I checked in. I really don't understand that. Breakfast was not very good. I just had bananas and apples and coffee. The eggs were running the sausage was I don't even know what my daughter had a waffle which was fine. We returned to the Twin Cities area many times a year. We will not be staying at this property again. I do not fault overall Hampton Inns but I do fault this one. If you are looking for a clean room this is it if you're looking for a good service and nice staff look elsewhere

By far the worst Hampton Inn I have stayed at. I recommend staying at a different chain or another location in the twin cities area. We were told upon check in that our room would be cleaned every other day- this was not true. We stayed there 5 days/4 nights and our room was not cleaned once during our stay. There was also no conditioner in the shower when we arrived- but I did not notice this until I was taking a shower the next morning. I asked the front desk to refill the conditioner, and they seemed annoyed at my request because I have long hair, implying I used up all the conditioner and that’s why we were out (despite there being none to begin with). They incorrectly replaced the conditioner bottle and instead put a bottle of lotion in our shower, which I again did not notice until the next morning while I was mid-shower. We gave up and bought conditioner at a store nearby. Stay anywhere else.

There’s a great deal to appreciate about this Hampton Inn. A lot of thought has gone into making the accommodations comfortable, efficient, clean and quiet: plenty of outlets for devices, comfortable beds and bedding, responsive individual room climate control, lighting, and TV channels to name a few. The bathroom is the best: walk-in shower with the water control on the wall opposite the shower head and a foot shelf in just the right place for women shaving legs, lots of counter and shelf space, towel bars, robe hooks, a ventilation fan that actually works, plus super quiet sliding door and plumbing. Breakfast was fresh and well stocked, and everything was neat and clean. Finally, staff is available, friendly and helpful, including check-in, breakfast, and overnight staff who went above and beyond, accompanying me to my car late at night so I could retrieve something I’d forgotten. I most definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for the Minnesota State Fair, since it is close by. | A little disappointed with the quietness of the room. I had an attached room-the kind that has a door available between them-and I could here the people in the other room at 10 p.m., 4 to 4:30 a.m., and 6 a.m. through the door. I didn't hear them through the wall, just the door, so if you are staying here, and don't need an attached room, *be sure* you don't have one. I didn't know this in advance.|The staff was friendly, and called the other people, but still, you will hear them doing normal activities through the door. |Otherwise, everything else was perfect: comfortable, good breakfast, impeccably clean.|Even saw the State Fair fireworks from my top floor room.
