Residence Inn Kingston

My suite was clean and spacious. I also had everything needed to cook and clean. The service was great during my stay. All issues were resolved promptly and effectively- Thank you, Tarik! Thank you, Mary, for supplying my fresh towels! The Breakfast Team did an amazing job keeping up with a room full of hungry people! The front desk was also kind and I appreciate them acknowledging me when I entered and exited the hotel. The location is great and located by EVERYTHING I needed during my 2-week business stay!

We went for one night, and we enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were just what we needed, the location was good, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent (many options, pleasant staff). The only thing that was disappointing was the front desk. We arrived right before check in (which is 4pm) and there was no one at the front desk. We waited 5 minutes while watching a basketball game. Finally I called the hotel and after 5 rings someone picked up. I explained we were waiting and they casually said, oh yeah, I will be there in a moment. Then someone came out and did not apologize and acted very indifferent. Barely got eye contact. Not a good first impression, luckily the staff at breakfast were very sweet and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel almost every weekend for 10 weeks this winter due to my daughter’s ski program at Belleayre. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is great, and the manager and staff are incredibly friendly and always welcoming with a smile. Highly recommended place to stay!

Have had two fantastic stays at this Residence Inn location and it truly sets the standard for hotel stays when traveling with kids! We come for overnights here to visit friends in Kingston every so often, and the staff has been nothing but lovely- warm, accommodating, helpful and so wonderful with the kids. They have a little chest of goodies for the kids to pick from upon check in, fantastic amenities such as infused water, wine and beer on tap and cookies all included. The rooms and overall hotel are very clean, well-kept and spacious for my family of five (three kids 5 and under). Would stay here again and again and recommend to anyone traveling to Ulster County with children especially!

I had an amazing experience with D'Mariah! Her customer service was absolutely superb. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel right at home, even though I was far from my own. She was not only polite but also incredibly pleasant, ensuring that I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my visit. I truly appreciate her kindness and attention to detail—she made my experience memorable.

Google Maps guided us to the wrong side of the building, but we found our way in. The dog surcharge is eye-rolling (expensive), but the facilities are perfect. We were near the door, on the ground floor, plenty of room. See you next time!

We were visiting the Hudson Valley, and this is a nice central location from which to visit. It's also among a host of amenities like Target, Walmart, and various food options. The hotel room is convenient with its mini kitchen, living room, and separated room. Would stay again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, the experience was memorable. From the exceptional front desk staff D’Mariah who went above and beyond to ensure that my check-in process was smooth and efficient to the incredibly clean and up to date amenities in the hotel. D’mariah took the time to make us feel personally welcomed, offering helpful tips about local attractions and dining options. When I had a small issue with my room, she was quick to resolve it, It’s rare to encounter thoughtful employee who genuinely cares about the guest experience so THANK YOU D’Mariah. If you ever find yourself visiting Kingston NY , I highly recommend the Residence inn.
