The Gables of Rhinebeck

Great location, walkable to everything Rhinebeck has to offer! Charming, well decorated home. Our room was clean (minus a few cobwebs on art), bed was comfortable & hosts were attentive & friendly. My only suggestion is providing guests with "Do Not Disturb" signs to hang on the door exterior if room care isn't needed/wanted. It was clear the trash had been removed when we were out for the day, which was thoughtful, however, my preference is to not have anyone enter while I'm staying anywhere. Just an option for other's like me. That said, we'd return. Croissants & coffee in the morning are a nice touch & the gardens are probably lovely in season. Be forewarned, church bells ring every hour & half hour from 7am-9pm, it made sleeping in unachievable. The church is next door.

Great location! We parked at the Gables and everything is within walking distance. Great amenities! Everything you need. Great host! Friendly, personable and respectful! The little sun room was so relaxing. Bed was amazing. Tub is out-of-this-world. We would love to come back.

The room was clean and cozy. Every detail was thought of. The innkeepers, John and Pam, could not have been nicer. I looked forward to the coffee and freshly baked croissants every morning. Will stay there again next time I’m in town.

The Gales is a beautiful B&B perfect located just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Rhinebeck. The owners were the most friendly couple and were absolutely fantastic with our children. The Family Area in the upstairs of the house was perfect for us, with a separate twin bedroom for the children and a large private bathroom. I can't wait to return.

We had a lovely stay at The Gables! Our cousins have stayed there before and highly recommended it for us - and Doug’s recommendations of what to do were spot on. The rooms are beautiful and charming with a lot of character and original features of the house. We enjoyed the morning croissants and coffee, and loved the close proximity to downtown Rhinebeck. We highly recommend this to any individuals or couples looking for a relaxing weekend getaway Upstate.

I have stayed here twice and absolutely adore the charm, cleanliness, and closeness to town. I've stayed in two of the rooms -- once in the Red Rocks, the other time in Storm King. The house is utterly charming. You can hear a gurgling fountain, can smell delicious croissants baking when it's time to wake up. Great water pressure for a good shower after a long day. Best part: you can walk to all of the amazing restaurants Rhinebeck has to offer. You can walk to the County Fairgrounds and to a pretty impressive Farmers' Market on Sunday. We can't wait to come back next year!

Quaint and cozy accommodations. Home is clean and welcoming. Location is perfect for Rhinebeck visit as we were able to walk to dinner each evening. Rhinebeck is a great area with cute downtown and diverse activities including arts, historical sites, shopping and hiking close by. Hosts-John and Pam are very pleasant and attentive. We highly recommend a visit to this lovely town.

Our HQ is in Rhinebeck and Gables has become our go-to place for people to stay! The rooms are beautiful, great location, and Doug the owner is so helpful and responsive. Highly recommend
