Rochester Airport Marriott

I wouldn’t stay again. Front desk staff was very nice, and that’s the best I can say. Mainly we booked because the kids wanted to swim and use the hot tub. But the hot tub was broken and there were ants all over. The beds were clean, but small and uncomfortable. The walls and doors looked like someone had tried to kick them all down. We had to listen to a fight in the hallway in the wee hours, but we weren’t really sleeping anyway.

I haven't even checked in yet, but I had to take a moment to rave about the incredible service I received from Daniel (supervisor) and Skyler (front desk) at the Rochester Airport Marriott. After a major booking issue with HotelPlanner (seriously—avoid them at all costs!), I was left frustrated and uncertain about my reservation. Enter Daniel and Skyler, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was sorted out. Daniel’s professionalism, patience, and willingness to help were truly exceptional. He handled the situation flawlessly, turning what could have been a nightmare into a seamless experience. Skyler was equally fantastic—friendly, efficient, and reassuring throughout the process. If this is the level of service they provide before I even set foot in the hotel, I can only imagine how great the actual stay will be. A huge thank you to both of them for their kindness and expertise—I know I’m in good hands at the Rochester Airport Marriott! Highly recommend this hotel for the service alone!

I have stayed at this hotel twice and it was a very pleasant stay both times . The only reason I'm giving 4 stars the beds are a little bit uncomfortable but doable, Also I did book through a third party and it was chaotic checking, even when I extended a 4th day! However Bill took care of everything patiently and promptly. I really appreciated that after having a very busy workday! I would definitely stay again but I guess I won't book through a third party next time.

My family was in town for a youth hockey tournament. As you can imagine, youth sports teams aren't always a hit with hotel staff and other guests. This hotel was different, their entire staff from the front desk, to the hospitality suite, to housekeeping and the managers were fantastic. Very clean & accommodating. The manager opened a private room for the team to enjoy pizza and fun one of the evenings. Look past the older look of the outside and appreciate friendly staff. Thanks for making our staff a good one.

We came here for a funeral from Ohio and they couldn’t have been more accommodating… from letting us check in early so we could get ready after saying first before anything that they were sorry for my loss. My son with Autism wanted to swim so badly and the pool was closed for maintenance and yet they went out of their way to open it for him. The rooms are super clean and the staff are amazing. And last but not least the food in their restaurant bar area is also very very good!!! I’d stay here again on my next family trip to New York!

Staff were friendly, a little unorganized apon check in, rooms were very clean. Room service was good, but very small rooms. The worst matress I've ever tried to sleep on, very firm we all tossed and turned all night and woke up in a lot of pain and unrested. Shower heads are low on the wall, so it's not great for anyone that's 5,6' or taller hits the back of your head or back and have to duck to get your head wet. Advertise's windows that open, but they open 2 inches if that, found our room hot. The pool and hot tub were nice, free coffee and water in the lobby 24 hrs a day, and a small market with drinks and sandwiches and microwaves. They double charged us for our room and tried to charge us multiple times, got our bank card locked, we are supposed to be refunded within 5 to 7 bussiness days after check out, they charge apon check in but said before arriving they charge apon check out. Yes, they have some positives but definitely need work.

Can't say enough about hotel manager Chardonnay. One of the most accommodating hotel managers I have met. Thank you for your care and flexibility during our stay in 2024!

Positive: Comfy beds, great staff, very helpful and accommodating Negative: Pool area needed some attention- no clean towels, full hamper of dirty towels and the hot tub had dirt on the floor, but the front desk took the hamper right away when they were notified and personally brought me a clean towel as well as filled the rack.
