First the good… Perfect location on the river. Beautiful hotel inside and out. Great mattress and very clean room (except room rug). Quiet. Lovely rooftop restaurant with decent food and very fun cocktails. Now the bad. The rug in our room was FILTHY. The disclosed pet fee was $150.00. However, this hotel added taxes to that pet fee that I’ve NEVER paid anywhere else and I travel extensively. The taxes are NOT disclosed anywhere on their website (room taxes are discussed) and those taxes added $27. Ridiculous! The taxes on the $150 included a bed tax (explain that as the dog was not provided a bed), city pet tax, county pet tax, city market fee, and sales tax.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, with well-maintained rooms and friendly staff. The location was convenient for exploring local attractions, though the on-site dining options were limited. Overall, it was a good value for the price and a solid choice for a short stay.

The rooftop bar has a wonderful view and great service. The fitness center is pretty comprehensive and allowed me to keep up with my routine. Unfortunately my room had a window that saw straight into the fitness center, so that window had the blackout curtains closed at all times. Not a great room for a woman traveling alone to end up.

The shower had left over small hairs which could have been short head hair or pubes. We didn’t want to find out so I just stood on a towel while showering. The air conditioning did not work, we couldn’t even get under the covers. The air conditioning was set to 67 and I eventually called the front desk after a few hours. He was nice enough to look at it for us like I didn’t already try anything and everything to get it to work. He told us to wait for 15 minutes and call back down if it didn’t work. I of course called down. He said he could give us a 2 queen room or an upgraded room. We just wanted what we paid for a nice big king sized bed with air conditioning. He gave us the “upgrade” it was the exact same kind of room. We laughed it off and we were just happy that the air conditioning was better than the last room. It was still hot but not super hot so we just dealt with it. The front desk gave us $20 off anything food or drink wise, which their prices are outrageous 2-3x more than regular prices. All in all the staff was accommodating enough. It wasn’t a total flop considering it has a great location. If you experience any of the above issues it’s not a fluke and definitely speak out and demand them to fix the issue. The price is not worth the hotel but it is worth the location. Edited for the reply: I read the reply to my post and all the other posts. All I have to say is; don’t talk about, be about it. Sorry’s have an expiration date. After months of people experiencing the same issues, you should have fixed them. It is now a decision that you chose. I will not be back if I have a choice. Was a 2 star review now it’s a 1

Would be nice to see a little more thought put into room assignment. Don’t expect much from ambassador status but assigning the worst room in the hotel, the only room that’s practically inside the elevator bay is pretty abysmal... No other room was available when asked to change - extremely difficult to sleep with elevator and conversation noise from anyone going or down, you can hear it all from this room.

Service is welcoming and helpful overall. The room was nice but the bathroom could use some mild tlc and the pillows were getting just a bit lumpy. Overall, a good experience and a nice stay with minimal things that could be updated. But we would still go back!

This hotel was a 10/10 experience. First the staff was so kind and helpful. It was one of the best staffs I have ever had. I liked to give a special shoutout to one of the hostess, Elly. She was so accommodating and had no problem with fulfilling my families needs. Also the rooms were terrific. They were very clean and just a joy to stay in. This is a wonderful hotel and this stay has made me a loyal costumer to AC Marriot.

What a great stay here at AC hotel in Dublin! As per usual this chain hotel always delivers best service and price point. Very convenient location, close to restaurants and cafe shops, easily accessible from main highways. Hotel is situated right beside the river, so the view was very nice, especially now with Christmas decorations and all the lights. As we arrived we had a few concerns, but Lovely sorted it out for us in no time in a very professional manner. Kenneth helped us during breakfast making sure we are full and happy and the food is exactly as we ordered. It was a beautiful and generous breakfast buffet available with a few a la carte options to satisfy anyone’s taste. Loved the design of hotel, little details that make difference - always fresh water available or little lavender bags to relax before bed. And my personal favourite - the whole hotel smells extremely nice! :) Thank you for a lovely stay. Can’t wait to be back!
