★★Room was clean and adequate size and furniture. I am Marriott gold and received no welcome gift or upgrade offer even though the property was far from full. But, the biggest issue was the minimalistic, inadequate, and far below Marriott average breakfast. Biscuits and gravy should be one option, not the only option. I am accustomed to blueberry or strawberry compote for waffles. If there was a fresh fruit option I missed it. Orange juice was diluted. Best I can say was the coffee was good.

NillWe booked this hotel because it was close to the hospital where I was having my baby and the reviews were decent. Right from the start, it was off-putting. I booked the hotel through a military website and there was no mentioning of a pet fee of $150. For a tea cup Yorkie. The front desk man was not understanding at all and would not give me a key until I put that and an “incidentals” fee of $80 on a card. On top of that, we were not visited once my housekeeping and ended up taking our own trash out to the dumpster. A couple of maids saw me carrying the trash and did not offer to help at all, being 39 weeks pregnant. There were no fresh towels or fresh anything. I ended up getting my own cleaning supplies. I mean, the waffles were decent for the breakfasts so there’s that.

NillDisappointing. I have stayed here multiple times and am currently on a two week business trip. I have stayed on Marriot properties 65-70 nights this year and have Platinum Elite status. The breakfast isn't great. The rooms are nice and clean, the servicing of them is the reason for fewer stars. I had to ask the desk to make sure housekeeping came in to give me new towels after six days of not showing up. I did not have a door tag or special instructions requesting housekeeping not service the room during the entire stay. When I am on a business trip I don't expect to have to ask for this type of routine service, it should just happen. During non-peak hours you have to stand around at the desk and wait for an employee to appear. Now, two days before checking out, unlike other local Marriott properties, they are nickel and diming me for laundry soap when other local properties offer it as a courtesy to guests who stay more than five nights regardless of frequent guest status. Next year I will be willing to drive longer distances to work rather than stay here again unless they improve. Please do better, Marriott.

NillWhen my family and I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to greet us. After knocking on the door that was behind the front desk, Tirsa came out to ask us what we want. She didn’t greet us and she was very rude. The next evening we needed some extra towels and again no one was at the front desk. This time the door of the office was open and after waiting for a few minutes my husband knocked at the door with Tirsa again being extremely rude, telling us that we should leave the hotel, saying that she was going to call the police and that she was going to call her manager. We were in total shock about her behavior and of the fact that she kept threatening us that she was going to call the police and that we should leave. I asked her what is her issue and why she was being so rude but she totally ignored us and kept insulting us. I have never had such a bad experience with a Marriott hotel before but definitely this experience has left us with the worst feeling ever. I am definitely not staying here again and I hope that the Mariott Company will do better with whom it hires to work there, especially in such an important position as the front desk.

NillWhoever the dude at the desk was made our stay simple. We were trying to get out of the snow storm. Can't remember his name but he had dreads. Super cool

NillLocation is good, but unfortunately my husband and I had a terrible experience with most people in the front desk. They were rude and never greeting you in return. In the check out at 6 am, the lady didn’t provide us the receipt, she said couldn’t. When we travel for work we always stay at Towneplace and in 5 years we never had this issue with invoice. Room was ok, but the bathroom has sewer smell. My husband and I asked for the housekeeping service and they just changed the bed clothes and towel, we stayed for 14 days and had to deal with the bad smell. This stay was very disappointing.

★★Hotel itself is clean and nicely appointed. Was charged $170+ for a pet I did not have. Front desk young man while very personable must have been new or inept because he couldn't make the key mechanism to work. Kept one person ahead of me and myself waiting an inordinately long time just to get a key. I am assuming he is the one who inadvertently charged us when it perhaps was a different guest. Went to our room and examined the sheets to find what looked like bodily fluid. Went back downstairs asked for a king sheet, he gave me a queen. Went back a second time, he gave me two flat sheets. Was too exhausted after a 10 hour car ride to go a third time as just overlaid the two sheets over each other over a towel. Clearly, to be charitable, was overwhelmed. Two previous times at this hotel had issues with TV. Manager unwilling to give us another room with a working TV because "...someone else had it reserved". But we were there first. Isn't that what a reservation is for? Called the hotel numerous times, to rectify pet charge. Manager never available. Left voice mail, never returned the call. Too many other hotels in that and surrounding area to have to deal with this type of issues, especially three times in a row. The fee. even if I had a dog, is substantial. Plan to report to Marriott customer service.

NillMy family and I just moved back to Columbus from Florida and stayed at this hotel and loved it. Everyone was very kind, helpful and friendly. Very clean, delicious breakfast and spacious rooms. Salma was very helpful and very kind. Will definitely be coming back and will have my friends and family stay here when visiting.
