I really like this motel. It is older but it is clean with comfortable bed. Nice quiet area close to grocery. The front desk person is great. I brought my great Dane as it is pet friendly. We had a great time! :) blackout curtains, microwave, clean.

The location is very good, it’s a close drive to everything you need to go at, and close to the miller ferry to go to put in bay. When we came in, the sink was broken, but they were quick to fix it. My one complaint is the staff was banging on the door at 10am, despite the checkout time stated in the email being 11am. They have some snacks in the morning as well as some OJ and coffee, which was pleasantly unexpected. The price is very reasonable for what you get, I recommend the Stay Inn if you’re looking to go to port Clinton or put in bay.

Have stayed there many times. Newly renovated. Great price n location. The guy who checked me in was friendly n really nice. Will stay there again.

Have stayed here twice. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean. Nice pool. Very convenient location, close to everything but not on a busy rd. Will definitely stay here again.

Disgusting and poor service. Walked in to our room and there were cockroaches on the wall. Walked out and asked for a refund and it was denied. I guess this is pretty standard here.

Guy at check in was nice and informative. Other than that, would've immediately booked a room somewhere else, except I'd already pre-paid over $160 non refundable. The tub was dirty, there were stains on the sheets and bedding. Furniture was worn out and mismatched. Carpet was filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't even close. And you could hear people outside for a good part of the night and morning.

This is the worst hotel I have ever encountered! We checked into one room and the bed was covered in bed bugs. We had a hotel staff member come and verify and he definitely agreed offered a refund and closed the door. The next day when I called bc my refund was canceled they were very rude and said they do not give refunds. I have noticed the health dept, the fire Marshall's and my attorney as I will be taking them to court for my money. DO NOT waste your time with this place it's absolutely disgusting and should be shut down!

I will agree with other reviews that the beds aren't all that comfortable. However, I never expect a luxury bed like what we may have at home when visiting a hotel. The towels were large, soft and fluffy. The bed linens are clean. The room was clean, and several updates were noticeable. The male who checked us in was pleasant. The biggest perk (and why I tend to choose older model hotels) is that this place is QUIET. Not once did I hear a neighbor, and we had several. You don't hear toilets flushing, showers running, doors closing, people passing by the room. The grounds are reasonably sized for those that are traveling with their pets. And the location is just outside Port Clinton enough to be accessible yet away from the hub bub. We enjoyed our stay, and will return here when we visit the area again.
