Anchor Inn Boutique Hotel

Staying at The Anchor Inn Boutique Hotel was my favorite part of coming to Put-in-Bay for the first time. Our host Paul was very welcoming and helpful in suggesting the best places to eat and visit. He and his staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfast each day was outstanding. Definitely a cut above! The Inn is lovely and our room was beautiful. Also, it's in the perfect location on the island. It was close to everything.

Beautiful, very well kept facility. Friendly staff. We had third floor room with a balcony that we used. Within walking distance of most things. Excellent breakfast. | |Funky golf course fun; $15. Winery on lakefront enjoyable, other winery not. See if you can find the speakeasy.||The place to stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Very close to all the downtown businesses and restaurants in PIB. We went at the end of the season, fewer people and plenty of room everywhere on the island.|Chef Paul’s breakfast was our best meal of the day. |We will stay again on our next trip to South Bass Island. E

Staying at the Anchor Inn is one of my favorite summer splurges—and it was even nicer to go in September! The location is perfect—a quick walk to the main square and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. They inn is beautifully decorated, down to the polished nickel faucets in the bathrooms. The included breakfast is delicious and plentiful—you will love eating on the front porch. Friendly staff and super clean. I recommend it highly!

Such a beautiful boutique hotel! Breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect. The room we stayed in was so pretty and clean (Second Mate’s Suite). Super comfortable bed and very cozy room. I definitely recommend staying here. You won’t regret it! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay the weekend of August 16. Our room had a covered balcony that faced Catawba Ave, which made for great people watching! They paired the couple that travelled with us in the room next door, which was perfect. The rooms are all quiet, clean and have their own bathrooms. The bed and furnishings were all high quality. The staff and service are all top notch. I can’t say anything negative about this place. The owner greeted me and even remembered me from last year (hopefully for good reasons lol). The location of this property is perfect. Walkable to downtown area, restaurants bars and hardware store, but far enough off the main strip to be quieter. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Made to order omelettes, self serve continental, and 2 specials that change daily. Fantastic place. Can’t say how much we enjoy it. Anytime we travel to PIB we will be staying here.

My husband and I visited Put-In-Bay for the first time and chose Anchor Inn for the location and of course because it looked like such a quaint little place to stay. It did not disappoint. We were in the Sandy Shores room, adorably appointed and clean. The balcony is nice to have your morning coffee.. and not facing the main road. We found our stay to be clean, quiet, and comfortable! Everything you could need. The location is fantastic and very walkable if you choose to forego the golf cart rental - although we did rent one and there is a rental service directly across the street! We loved the Anchor Inn and will definitely recommend.

I have stayed in a few B&Bs but the Anchor Inn Boutique has been the best by far. Its location is just a short walk from restaurants, shops and the water. The rooms are decorated in a lovely nautical theme with the most comfortable beds (all king), beautiful and spacious baths, refrigerator and coffee maker with numerous accompaniments. Each room has has an adjoining balcony to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Each evening, the room is turned down, shades/curtains pulled down, sweets left to enjoy. The owners of the Inn are most welcoming and strive to make one's stay a relaxing and wonderful experience. Breakfast is outstanding and made to perfection. There is no other accommodation I would even consider when visiting PIB.
