We flew in to Put in Bay via Island Air Taxi for some world class ice fishing. Location is awesome and extremely accommodating to fisherman with the bar and restaurant within walking distance and a short run to the boat ramp. Jackie was extremely helpful and accommodating the whole trip and went out of her way to shuttle and transport our gear to boat ramp. If you're flying in for ice fishing, this is your spot! We have stayed at several air BNBs in the past for this trip but with the service provided from Jackie and staff we will be staying here for every future trip to Put-in-Bay!

Truly enjoyed staying at Bay Lodging! This is our groups 4th year coming back and staying. Absolutely love the location and staff. We will continue to stay here each year! Rooms are clean and staff is friendly when checking in! The hot tub is so relaxing and such a nice pool and bar to hang out with friends! Would highly recommend!

Staff was very kind & friendly. The room was freshly painted & appeared clean. EXCEPT for the toilet 🤮 was very dirty. Toilet paper was very, very cheap. The only way to get fresh towels was to take your dirty towels downstairs & across the parking lot to the laundry area. The bar area has 2 frozen drink machines that were not filled & had visible bees entering & floating in the liquid that had not been emptied. We were there Tuesday thru Sunday. The bartender said it would be cleaned and refilled in the weekend, but it never happened. The continental breakfast was only available on the weekdays !! The cost of Tues thru Saturday with checkout on Sunday was $2287.39. It was way too expensive for such a laid-back atmosphere.

Jackie is very nice and pleasant to work with. The accommodations could be improved with attention, regular maintenance, cleaning, daily trash disposal and more staff. We observed or experienced the following during our stay: *Holes in the wall, bathroom door and living room chair. *There is no place for clothing, no dresser drawers or closets. You literally live out of your suitcases in the 10 person suite but there are no suitcase stands either. *The door knob fixtures are loose in the main entrance and bathroom doors. The bathroom door would not lock. *Half the lights in the unit did not work. *Bathroom sink backed up with black particles coming out of it. *The shower head has very poor water flow. *Coffee provided in the mornings was nice. The creamer was rotten, expired 5 months ago which unfortunately we did not notice until after poured into the coffee and observing soured lumps. *Black mold in the refrigerator, rusted shelf in the freezer. *Filthy in the oven drawer and underneath. *Open bags of trash left outside near suite entrances more than a day. *A red ant infestation in the suite entryway, in the lower bedrooms and kitchen we believe resulting from the open bag of trash near the suite entry for over a day. Side note, we discovered the conditions under the oven looking to ensure we killed all the ants. Maintenance offered to spray, we could not because of our dog. *We wanted to cut our visit short by one night after the red ants, refrigerator and oven discoveries. The onsite GM was not empowered to block or refund the fee for the final scheduled night. She said she would try to call the owner to ask if I would be charged if we left but might not reach them until the following day. I waited a while for her to contact the owner then called and said never mind. I certainly did not want to pay for not staying there and it got too late to make other arrangements.

Located on an awesome island and close to all of the fun. I had a room with three double beds. No coffee machine. Little fudge and microwave. Two drawers. Sink outside of the tiny dirty bathroom. 📺 with an ancient r remote. There is basically no desk service. You have to call someone on the phone for desk service. There is a nice pool and a cool pool bar with slushies, but it shuts down at night. 1 vending machine inside with minimum fare. Continental breakfast was a joke. No lights order after dark. All this, but it is close to everything, air conditioning works, is dog friendly, pizza deliver is close, and poolside is fun during the day.

Room was clean but is VERY small! The sink for the bathroom is in the hall by the door. The location is off the beaten path - in more of a residential area. No views of the lake. It is just ok. Probably wouldn't stay here again. If you have luggage and it is warm outside, call a cab.

We booked a three queen room for our family of 5, 2 adults, 2 older kids and a 5 year old. The rate was about $210 a night and it included a 6 person golf cart. They copy your credit card and keep it on file for the golf cart, but I read on other reviews that they had 2 incidents of fraudulent activity, so I questioned it. She said they shred them after checkout. The room was clean upon check in. The bathroom is extremely small. The beds are wrapped in plastic and crunch. Pillows are flat and smell weird. The pool was so small and not heated. The pool deck was dirty, with someone's chew spit on the ground. You had to ask for towels from the bartender and they had stains on them. Also, overcrowded with drunk people. Once back in the room, our neighbors were having a party. They must have kicked the walls until 1 in the morning. We told the front desk and he said there isn't much he can do. M-Th they offer breakfast. It was cold muffins, granola bars, juice and coffee. They should just say "snacks." We talked with the manager the next morning and she laughed at us when we said we thought this hotel was more family friendly. She said they are the quietest hotel on the island. I get the island is full of drunk people, but they advertise and cater to families, too. We were pretty disappointed. Even if I had just come for a couples trip, I would find a better hotel with a resort feel.
