Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-on the River, an IHG Hotel

We stayed here for two nights for the Oregon State University Family Fall weekend. The location was perfect for this. The hotel is located right on the river and we were lucky to have a beautiful view. The property as a whole was modern and clean. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. Beds comfortable. The pool area was awesome to have for the kids, there is both a pool and a hot tub. Every staff member was extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely come back in the future!

View from window beautiful with river. Beds and linens were clean, new, comfy. Complimentary home baked cookies in lobby. Friendly staff, respectful guests. Hallways and elevator smelled and appeared clean. Bathroom was perfect. Shower pressure strong, deep sink, great lighting. Beautiful flooring. All new. Rounded corners on all furniture (much more kid friendly than most hotel furniture.) Parking was fine. Great bakeries/eateries very nearby. Just a wonderful stay!

We recently stayed here and enjoyed the accommodations. The welcoming-in warm cookies were delightful, the staff was attentive, and the room was very comfortable. The quality of the breakfast food was so-so, but the cold cereals, the yogurts, and the choice of hot beverages were good. My gripe concerns all hotels--I really hate the price gouging on high-demand days such as football weekends. This is so unfair to people with moderate incomes who simply can't afford to pay several hundred more per night. When does "smart business pricing" become exploitive?!

Right on the River. The staff was friendly and helpful, coffee and breakfast was nice and hot also had a variety. The Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave which always makes it nice. We were very close to downtown Corvalis such a cute little place plenty of great food choices. Watched the football game at the college tailgated and had a great time!

Everything was great with 2 exceptions: I didn't know there was a parking fee here and the light switch location for bathroom was weird. Nice staff at check in and other interactions, but didn't mention the parking fee at check in. There was a switch in main hotel room outside of bathroom for lights above mirror and overhead fan. However, the switch for overhead light was located in the back corner of the bathroom opposite the entry door (on same panel as a gfci receptacle). I found this odd- usually the light switch is located adjacent to the entry door....

Everything was great except the bed was too soft for my liking and breakfast was horrible. Biscuits overcooked and hard as rocks, potatoes also overcooked and rock hard. Egg Omelettes were obviously frozen and reheated so no flavor. Kitchen staff were rude and short with customers. Everything else was great!

The property was clean and well kept. The street noise and hard bed made a good night's sleep a challenge. Everything was very clean and the staff was polite and professional. Didn't appreciate having to pay for parking at the hotel when they were already charging a premium price for the caliber of hotel. I guess they get away with this because of their proximity to OSU. Overall a nice property except for the sleep quality.

The hotel is super clean, right on the water, and was a great stay! We thought it would be too far from “downtown” but it not at all! Breakfast was pretty good with lots of selection and the view of the river is amazing. Also, rooms have full bottles of Dove products! That was pretty great too.
