Piedmont Vacation Rental

We came to Portland to have a visit with our son, and this charming rental home was a great find! It is cozy, well cared for, well supplied, and the host, Gary, was very welcoming and accommodating. We hope to stay here again when we return for another visit!

We loved our stay at this charming house. Our family had plenty of room to spread out, chill and just enjoy each other. Gary was a very good host - he made sure we knew everything about the house and surrounding attractions. The house was well appointed - plenty of towels, dishes and seating. This was one of the best, most well thought-out properties in which we've stayed! Thank you Gary!

Gary is an exceptionally sweet host who went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. His home is beautiful and in a great location near many intriguing neighborhoods - we explored Alberta Arts District, Peninsula Park, Mississippi Street, and downtown during our three-night stay. The house was clean and well-kept and had everything we needed, including more than enough towels and dishware. Gary was very responsive leading up to and during our stay. He greeted us upon arrival and provided recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Overall, we highly recommend Gary and his home.

Wonderful house with a responsive, considerate host in Gary. The house is pleasantly located in a neighborhood surrounded by a ton of great food and a block away from CVS & Safeway. The inside is well decorated - love the green fireplace! Everything you need is provided, and it was so clean when we checked in. Gary was always available to answer questions, and he even went above and beyond with shipping some items that we forgot at his rental to our homes. Highly recommend staying.

My family and I , 11 of us lived in Gary's home for 5 nights. We had a great time. Gary agreed for us to check in early as we had to move from a location which held fewer people in preparation for our big wedding. That was nice because we had not talked to him about it earlier yet he agreed right away. The ambiance inside the home was tasteful and carefully put together. He had every thing we needed to set up for the party. When he did not have it he went out of this way to get it for us. He got chafing dishes and a cooler for our use. The house was perfect for our party of 30 people and Gary accommodated all of our needs. The back yard was large enough to accommodate 20 seated guest and a food table. When the city advised that they would turn off the water supply for some routine maintenance he got them to delay the shut down as we were in the midst of cooking. There were so many towels, sheets, pillows and blankets for all the 11 people in the house for the entire period. The home is in a great location close to banks, Starbucks and Safeway. It is a safe neighborhood. Gary's home is highly recommended. I guarantee you will have a great stay in his home.

Gary's house was perfect for our stay, which consisted of 6 women who meet every year to celebrate our friendship. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed; the hot tub was fun; 4 bedrooms accommodated us well. The house was very clean and Gary was right there every time we needed anything. If we return to portland, we'll definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Gary's place during our long weekend in Portland to celebrate a friend's birthday. Gary was incredibly accommodating as he allowed us to check in a little early and made sure that we had enough keys and air mattresses available for our group. He was also extremely easy to communicate with before and during our stay. He greeted us at the house when we checked in and provided a thorough walkthrough of everything we would need to know about the house. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and had everything our group needed for our stay. We also enjoyed the location as it was very close to Starbucks, Safeway, Walgreens, etc. and close to several great neighborhoods that were fun to explore. I would definitely recommend staying here.

All of us had a wonderful experience at this home. Gary, the owner was always available if we needed anything and graciously accepted an invitation to dine with us one evening. This house is close to the city, on a bus line, and is even a handful of blocks away from a beautiful public rose garden. We all found the home to be delightfully peaceful and slept great every night. We had ten people with us and found the kitchen, linen closets, and bedrooms all well-stocked. I highly recommend this home.
