Corn Palace Inn

This place is a scam. There is a note on the front door to call a person who will come down and give us a room key. Called the number and it went to voicemail, however the mail box is full. There is no one on the property. We prepaid for our room. Thank goodness our credit card company had our back and gave us a credit for the charge that we prepaid. The photos online do not accurately depict what this place looks like. It is rundown and looks like it's going out of business. Stay away from this place. I'd like to give less than zero stars for this establishment

Positive: "" Negative: Not able to use the shower the tub wouldn't drain. There was no one to take care of any issues that were had. There was no continental breakfast or coffee or ice at the hotel. There was one person that showed up to do check in at 2:30 and left at 8.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Nobody was ever at the front desk. We called the number on the door and nobody answered. It was locked up and the lights were off. It appeared to be a very dirty, crappy hotel hotel and probably did us a favor by not giving us the room that we reserved!

We stayed at Mitchell's Corn Palace Inn on the 19th of August at the spir of the moment and must say we were very pleased with our stay. Our room was very clean, bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was freshly remodeled and the water was comfortable hot! Price was very reasonable even though we just dropped in for a one night stay. ❤️

From the Roadside the Corn Palace Inn looks rundown...needing some tender loving care. However- we received top notch service from reception..it was extremely hot & early check in requested. Our room was not ready but we were quickly put into another room..The reception mal & female were great-friendly style-- cool air conditioning & a spot to sit if needed-- we didn't mind nor bothered if having to wait...but they moved us easily. The room surprised us-- lots of walking soace everyehere, like the older style bathroom set up--large separate sink counter & closed bath & toilet area, 2 Queen, table & chairs ,tv, mini fridge & micro, walls & setting clean. Air conditioning works well & quiet. The room rug was a bit worn, as was bathroom tub seal...needing attention. We're enjoying our stay.

Couldn't give it 0 stars. Booked online. Arrived to find various, seemingly, misguided citizens, overhauling a Jeep Liberty next to the office that is closed for winter. Jethro asked if I needed help and I informed him I needed my money back to which he locked the door and said the hotel is shut down. I'll be in the area for a while Mr. Austen LLC DBA corn Palace inn

If I could give a -5 star review I would called and booked a room $170 later. Pulled in all the lights were off lobby was shut down a few rooms were boarded off with plywood some rooms the doors were just sitting open with the lights off. Tried calling someone to get a room number and a key no luck.after 45 minutes of sitting in parking lot.I would avoid this at all costs much better sleeping in whatever vehicle you showed up with here

COMPLETE SCAM!!! A door was boarded up and one rooms door was ajar. No one was in the lobby and lights were off, a sign said "back in 15min".waited for over 30 MINUTES and no one came. The number to call had a full mailbox. If I could leave a lower review I would so 1/5, horrible experience, do NOT recommend
