★★★★★My Grandpa and I travel every year for his job as Santa Clause. We've been to many different hotels over the years and we both agree this is one of the best ones we've ever stayed at! The rooms are cozy, and the staff is great! I want to give a special shout out to Brenda, Shawn, and the housekeeping staff for making sure we had everything we needed! Everyone was friendly, cordial and professional. If we are able to, we want to come back next year!

NillCLEAN, quiet, comfortable, tons of amenities you actually want, and really friendly staff. We stopped through on our way home to Washington state and were so pleasantly surprised just how great this hotel is. The front desk staff was really friendly and our room could not have been cleaner. Shout out to Jenifer! We love Sioux Falls so this will be our place to stay whenever we pass through. Oh, and good free cookies too!

★★★★This is a new property in Mitchell. It is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. It had everything we needed and was a pleasant experience. The kitchen did not have any dishes or utensils, but we always travel with our own. Breakfast is not included. A room service breakfast option is available, but features Pop Tarts, cold cereal, juice and McMuffin-style breakfast sandwiches. It’s not a good value. Otherwise we recommend staying here.

NillMy Place saved us at the last minute. My cousin was getting married and had made all her up on theknot.com, but there was a huge mistake. Her reception was at the event center between the two connected hotels across the street, but online, only one of them allowed pets. Unfortunately, on theknot.com, somehow, only one of the phone numbers showed up for both places. So, while I thought I was booking a room at the place that allowed pets, I was wrong. We arrived in SD with our 2 tiny baby kittens that we didn't want to leave home alone only to realize we were booked into a place that wouldn't let us bring them in. We had 1hr before the wedding to check in and get to the church... we looked online and thankfully found a room at My Place. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the people were nice. There was a nice little kitchen in our room, but there's no silverware, dishes, or cookware. We didn't need it, but if you plan to stay and you do need those things, you'll have to bring them yourself.

NillFirst time ever staying in a My Place. It was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Room was tastefully decorated and had a full size fridge and a stove burner along with a microwave. But to cook anything we would've had to pay for the utensils to cook with- pots, pans, silverware, plates. Breakfast was a charge of 7.95 so we didn't do breakfast- all the breakfast things were for sale in the My Shop gift shop. We were a bit worried about the elevator as there was a burned electric smell in the only elevator. We took the stairs most of the time.

★★★★★We stayed overnight with our dog and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Very clean, comfortable accommodations, centrally located. Friendly staff. Good value. ||Pro tip: Mitchell has the best general interest antique store downtown that's very much worth visiting if you're in the area! Also, of course, the Corn Palace and the McGovern Museum.
