NillProbably have stayed in 1000 rooms in my 30 years of traveling. This hotel was by far the most disgusting place I have ever seen. First common areas are dirty and warm. A vacuum and or a rug cleaner hasn’t been used in months. Got to room flipped on light instantly a roach ducks behind the toilet. That got me looking around the room. Looked behind the fridge and there were mouse/rat droppings. Looked behind the bed and there was used glove and trash. Behind the tv stand a dried out moldy piece of fruit and a used kitchen spatula. The tub was covered in pubic hair and hadn’t been cleaned in months. Went to front desk and said this room was unexpectedly. Showed them the pics and took them to the room and they said we are sorry we normally check rooms. They said please wait to allow us to get you another room if we have availability. There were five cars in the parking lot and two belonged to the staff. They showed me yo another room. Same thing pubic hair all over the tub. Food behind the tv stand and fridge. I have stayed in some less then great hotels but this was the worst I have ever seen. I have seen crack houses cleaner then this. As we were packing up and exiting the business a car pulls up with three ladies of the evening and clients. Called Expidea and they called the hotel. They denied the filth and said they try to give me a new room. Which they did but as equally bad. Hotel denied my request for a refund but Expedia is working on it. The room was $109 per night. You think above the $100 mark you could at least get a clean room. Pics have been uploaded. Long story short stay away from this disgusting hotel and don’t use Expedia to book anything.

NillI was visiting from Wisconsin. Check in was at 2:00 pm. I called and told them I would be late due to a flat tire on the way. I did not check in until just after 10:00 pm. Check in was very smooth and seamless. They even changed my reservation to one night instead of two. My room was on the 3rd floor. Hallways were decent. I got in my room and it was nice. The A/C worked perfectly, the bathroom was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely come stay here again. I didn't have time to get the breakfast included, but that's okay.

NillWhile we checked in for an archery event taking place RIGHT behind the hotel and I really wanted to like the hotel, it was NOT okay. First off, archers beware, there is NO elevator!!!! I don’t know about others, but kid and I have a lot of gear we haul into and out of rooms everyday. Having to go up stairs with all that is not conducive to easy trip. It was nice that some of the electrical outlets have been updated to outlets with USB included, but they were not installed with care as there were gaps around the plates that could easily allow items to be slid into them and cause shorts. Next, even with all the signs of no smoking/vaping/etc, we seemed to be assaulted with the smell of some form of airborne scent the entire night. Last, and worst of all, there was visible mold growing in the AC/heat unit which had us asthmatics reaching for inhalers. Until the owners actually put money into the fundamental flaws and not the superficial details (like fancy motion sensing bathroom mirrors that light up), we are never coming back.

NillDisgusting. Sink and Tub were still dirty from the last guest. There was mold growing on the shower curtain. Weird noises and smells throughout my stay. The air conditioner smelled even worse. The Yankton Inn is in my bottom 3 worst stays ever. Stay Away!!

NillOne of the worst experiences I've had with a Motel. 1. Very Dirty!!! *SEE PHOTOS I would bet the comforters have never been washed. 2. Extremely unprofessional! 3. Not Motorcycle friendly! We checked in at 8:30pm CST. Room 212. We hadn't been in our room for even 2 minutes when they demanded we need to move our Motorcycles from the Motel overhang to the Motel parking lot. We put our motorcycles on the edge, like most motorcyclist due b/c of hail. There were storms near by at the time. There was plenty of room for a large truck to drive through even with our motorcycles there. Although not a big deal, we complied and moved our bikes. When we got there we didn't check out the bathroom. At 3am we here water gushing in the bathroom. I entered the bathroom and notice a huge leak above the shower. *SEE PHOTOS I notified the front office of the leak. They did NOT offer us a different room so we got up in the morning, without showering, went downstairs and requested a refund. The "employee" at the front desk stated he can't give me a refund because he doesn't have the authorization. He stated "I spoke to my Manager at 3am and at 8am 'ish this morning and I would have to send him an email." The employee refused to call his manager. He said "my manager doesn't work on Sundays so I can't call him". I said "how did you talk to your manager at 3am & 8am this morning then?" He said “ You just don't understand me.” I said "I understand you perfectly and you are lying to me." The employee turned around walked down the stairs behind the front desk. About 10 minutes later, another guy walked up the stairs. In the meantime there were several other guests waiting in the lounge. The new employee said he only had authorization to credit me 30%. I told him that's not acceptable, and that I would like to speak to his manager. He said he could not do that. Although this new employee just spoke with the manager I could not. I informed him that lying to customers is not a good business practice. Apparently he could authorize my 100% refund as he did! While he was refunding my credit card, I informed him he doesn't have to worry about me staying there in the future. He stated "good, we don't want you here either". A female, southern accent voice came from the right side of me and said "we will never stay here again either.". The sweet lady from Texas overheard the situation and was completely disgusted. She also said "In Texas we take care of our customers, you can expect we will never be staying here as well.". Very nice lady! She put a big smile on my face! I don’t recommend giving this hotel business.
