Americas Best Value Inn Alpine

Positive: Very nice owners/operators. Well run and clean. Not fancy but everything you need. I would highly recommend this hotel while in Alpine, visiting Sul Ross University or exploring Big Bend National Park. Negative: Would love to see an expanded breakfast offering.

At 8 AM, breakfast wasn’t ready yet, and everything was frozen, so I had to heat it up in the microwave! At 8:30 AM, room service didn’t knock or confirm but directly swiped their card to enter my room. This place is insane. What’s worse is that I’m paying $100 a day for this kind of service—absolutely terrible!

Very nice staff. Rooms are not fancy but very clean. Highly recommend for a visit to Big Bend National Park or Sul Ross University.

Perfect place if you're on a tight budget yet need clean quiet and safe accomodations, also it's within walking distance to the center of Alpine, about a 20 minute walk.

Nice motel with great value in Alpine. It is dog friendly but need to require a non smoking room.

Traveling home from Mexico and hit an elk on the way home made an appointment online tried checking it and were denied checkin until 3 in the afternoon. This was late in the morning 4:00 after the accident we just wanted to sleep and relax and get some rest after the accident. Couldn’t even get a refund back, talked to the employee he said no refunds even after explaining our situation. Even talked to the assistant online with Expedia were no help at all. Just ended up leaving. Left with no refund and a tired family.

Positive: The room was large, clean, and well furnished. It had almost everything I wanted in the room Negative: Theres no coffee maker in the room. There is coffee in the lobby so its not that much a problem. I just want my first cup before I have to be presentable Negative: ""

Rooms were big. The beds were a bit hard. The location was nice. The hot breakfast that they advertise is a joke. It was a refrigerated sausage patty and hashbrown that you have to put in a toaster oven. That was the hot breakfast. The other was cereal or a honey bun.
