NillI'm not sure how some reviews are so terrible. I think some of you are expecting a bit to much, Ever heard u get what u pay for añd for the right price at this location it's wonderful clean staff is helpful and nice you even get a light breakfast or heavy depending on what u consider light. Our room was well stocked with some toiletries a mini coffee pot with included choices of coffees and sum cream n sugar, air worked fine. Place didn't have drug deals going down or hookers lurking around, it is peaceful and pleasant close to all of downtown Austin, I felt like for the price service and cleanliness are above average.

NillThis place is disgusting. Please see attached photos to my review for proof as to why not to stay here. We had to clean our own room the first night. Coffee spills still on counter. And had to leave notes for the cleaners to tell them how to do their job. Everything has a substance on it. Mildew on drapes. Which they ignored. Requested room cleaned 2days and they never came. Staff doesn't care at all. They can Barely look up from Their phone to do any customer service. And only a one word answer. It would be SO easy to do a deep clean on a room once a week. But this place... Never. Can't use air conditioner unless you can sleep next to the sound of a diesel generator. Holes from door & air conditioner to directly outside. Broken table, no chair. Your feet stick to the dirty ground. Bugs, no hot water, trash everywhere. Including the properties garbage being left full and unemptied for days. I could go on forever on how bad this place is.

NillI personally had an amazing experience here. Ram, the owner, and family were truly a great help. I flew in under unforeseen circumstances and needed a place to stay while still being close to Dell Seton University at TX Medical center. I came across this super 8. I am familiar with Super 8’s so i knew what to expect. Outdated rooms but for the price I paid it was perfect. My room was clean and pest free. Keep in mind you must request room service otherwise they are set to come every 3 days to reduce their carbon footprint. Free breakfast between 7-10 am.

NillI have stayed in this motel many times. The owners are kind and the facility is managed well, comfortable, and clean, even if it is older and dated. *This is an affordable place to stay close to downtown*. As many other reviewers have noted, the hotel has seen some wear and tear, but this is to be expected. The way Austin is gentrifying, this location will someday become luxury condos, but until then, we should feel lucky to have an affordable and safe place within walking distance of so many amenities. Thank you for a great stay, as always.

NillGreat location, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, soft pillows, very nice front desk person. Yes it's an older property, but who cares? We're very close to the swim center at UT where we needed to be. It's not super fancy, but is all that we need. Great pictures on the walls in the rooms as well. No issues with the stay.

NillIt is what it is, which was absolutely fine for our needs. We visited SXSW, and needed to economise on expenses. The breakfasts to 10AM each day were cereal, yoghurt, waffle(s), toast, coffee ... all unlimited. Plenty of parking (not the we needed it). The pool was covered (it's only March, but was a high as 33C/92F) Had to ask to have the room cleaned, and an OK job done on cleaning (beds well made). Good big beds, good sized rooms. So, basically ... fine.

★★★★My Friend & I decided to roll the dice on this hotel. It was very inexpensive & just off the downtown. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly & it was perfect for us because we could walk where we wanted to. We don't recommend for everyone but it's fine if you just need very basic accommodations.

NillRoom smelled of mildew. Mold growing in bathroom. Ice machine broken. Went to office to get bag for ice machine located in office. 10 minutes later the desk attendant supplied a bag then immediately left desk again. Then found the ice machine in office also out of order and unplugged. Coffee pot in room had not compartment to put grounds into, so unable to make coffee. Location was a short walk to Moody, which was the only positive.
