SpringHill Suites Austin The Domain Area

Rooms are big, the sofa has a bed on the bottom plus someone can sleep on top so 4 adults could be comfortable in the room. The shower and toilet are separate from the bathroom sink. It helps speed up things in the morning. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. The bad. They shampoo the carpets on the second floor, and they were still damp the entire second floor along with our room smelled like mildew for the 3 days we were there.

Rooms can use more thorough maintenance. Lots of things that didn’t quite work out for us - shower with the saddest water pressure ever seen, multiple power outlets and the blow dryer were not functional. The AC was noisy with inconsistent room temperature control that could keep one awake due to the constant on/off and the room getting too hot/cold throughout the night. Would not recommend due to the quality of the facility and supplies. However, the staff was accommodating, room was clean, and complimentary hot breakfast was much appreciated.

We were here for the Christmas holiday. On Christmas morning we found we forgot our aluminum foil. I went to the kitchen and asked the two ladies working g Christmas morning for so. They could not have been nicer of accommodating. It is this extra that makes this the best hotel in the Dominion area!

This is a good value for the price. The breakfast was plentiful even with many people staying there on the weekend. Clean lobby and breakfast area. Complimentary water bottles for Marriott Bonvoy elite members. I love the outlet with multiple ports. It’s at least 20 minutes from downtown.

My family and I had an exceptional visit during our stay....from the friendly staff, clean hotel, warm breakfast and Texas hospitality...Springhill Suites Austin in the Dominion/Tech Palmer area is a great place to stay on your next trip to the area.

Nice place to stay. Whoever runs this place cares and knows what they’re doing. Super clean. Staff is friendly. I wish all Marriott hotels would take a page from whoever manages this place. This is what I expect when I pay to stay away from home.

Given the price we paid (roughly $135, all-in), I consider it a steal. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast way above average, and the location very good. The only downside was that the AC had an annoying motion detector placed in the living room, basically turning it off during the night, but it didn’t bother us during our March visit.
