Positive: The staff was friendly, great location walkable to Whole Foods and other stores and eateries, studio with fridge and two top burner was nice to make small meals. Negative: The hotel was being renovated so it was a bit noisy between 9-6 and no access to a fitness center as a result of renovations. I'd definitely stay again in the future though and renovations should be completed soon.

Newly renovated rooms but some of the renovation does not make sense. Like why put a sensor switch to the restroom on the outside of the restroom?! You have 5 min before it turns off. None of the tv’s worked. Called front desk but no one available. Figured out how to fix ONE of the tv’s. Manager must be drowning in emails because he wont return mine. Not worth the price or hassle.

Positive: Spacious room Negative: They are doing renovation, which comes with noise and dust. That was not made clear on their website. We did not have hot water the first morning. The staff member was very rude about this issue and aggressive as well. The rest of the staff were amazing!!

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE!! This hotel is not secure as I was a victim of theft. It had to be a hotel employee. I would STRONGLY suggest you not stay at this hotel unless you’re comfortable with having personal items in your luggage stolen. We were guest at this hotel about 1 month ago. The room was fine and most of the staff was ok. However, somebody who had to have worked at the hotel went into our room and stole expensive prescription medication that I was prescribed overseas. I have no way to get it refilled here in Austin without first getting a lot of medical testing and an appointment with a doctor. No appointments are available with the physician specialist I would need to see until I leave the country. In addition to this, over $200 dollars of computer accessories were also stolen. After much discussion with the hotel manager he agreed to not charge us for the room fee but he refused to compensate me for the stolen computer accessories.

Positive: The staff were excellent. Negative: Parking was $5/day and it wasn?t stated on the reservation page. Also there was construction, which also wasn?t stated, that should be told upfront before you book a hotel. The noise was outside of the ?quiet hours? so it woke us up at 8a.

I stayed at Sonesta ES Suite's for approx. 45 days. I want to thank Jaylyn & Mike the front desk staff, these 2 men were very helpful and offered great customer service. As for my stay the beds was comfortable, and the hotel was semi clean. Sadly, I will not stay at Sonesta ES Suites again due to the hotel is pet friendly and turned in to a pet boarding hotel, barking, howling, and pet smell. I love animals, but I can’t believe the hotel allows guest to bring multiple 100LB adult pit bulls, along with many other dogs. I’d hate to see a small child be attached by one of these large bread dogs, I feel this creates an unsafe environment for guest and their children along with the noise and smell… Maybe it’s a one off incident…

One of the most inconsiderate and rude staff I have ever encountered. There was extremely loud banging on the ceiling of my room which literally started a water leak and light fixtures getting loose. After waking up to this uninformed maintenance work I informed them about the leakage, the person at front desk told me since I had 40 mins left to checkout time they won't be able to change my room which I was fine with. Sometime later I opened the tap to find no water supply. This is where the behavior of the staff becomes unacceptable. I called them to report and the reply I get is " what did you expect would happen when you reported a water leak ? Also, since you have 15 mins left to checkout , you shouldn't be needing water now ". I was shocked by this kind of behavior . Never am I staying here again.
