BED BUGS!!! DONT STAY HERE. THEY DONT CARE AND DONT WANT TO GIVE ANY KIND OF REFUND. Our daughter is allergic to bed bugs. Went and told the front desk around 4 am, and we were told the manager wouldn't be in till 8 am. So we told the front desk we would be waiting in our truck in 40-degree weather. $95 to sleep in the truck. The manager says we didn't check out.

Positives: it's quiet, no drama, room is clean, TV works, management was polite, bed is comfy, allowing for decent rest, little fridge actually works, no bugs. Negatives: heater is loud as hell: kept me waking up the first night, shower handle fell right off, not much of a breakfast offered. Waffles, toast, coffee, and a couple cereal. It's enough, I suppose, though I was hoping for fruit due to my illness. All in all, it's a decent place to stay. Plus, restaurants and stores are plentiful around here.

Very disappointing for the price. I paid $350 / night at F1 GP weekend and it was a $60 experience at best. Hotel is shabby, rooms are very basic, smell of cleaning products - I had to change my room and put up with the second, room furniture is unfinished - particle board edges around all furniture. Headboard screwed to the wall, one pillow per person and so on…

The pictures are extremely disceiving. It does not feel safe. One of the rooms we had, had a note saying that the deadbolt has recently been broken and replaced, and the other room's deadbolt was still broken. Smelt bad, had no hot water and when we returned later in the day, the towels were taken, not replaced. I would pay at least double to not stay here.

The smell of cigars in a non “smoking room” was really disgusting , we fleed arfer only one night. $85dlls a Sunday night.

Booked a room months ahead of my stay and the Travelodge Austin South canceled my reservation a week prior to my arrival. Calling the hotel leads to a front desk person who cannot provide answers and can only tell me that the manager has left for the day. Wyndham customer care was able to tell me the room was canceled by the hotel but I have not been able to receive an answer as to why.

Clearly the company doesn’t care about their reviews or their customers. My brother is currently staying at this hotel for 2 weeks because he is currently having hard times and homeless. He doesn’t make the best decisions and I realize him being homeless is probably from those decisions but he’s still human as we all are, and he is trying to better his life. Anyways I live 9 hrs away and am trying to send him food and shower stuff you know basic things to get him through 2 weeks and I obviously have to call the front office to get to his room. Well needless to say me calling him a total of four times is too much the lady on the phone proceeded to tell me he’s getting to many calls and hung up on me…. Baffled I tried to call back to explain the situation and explain that he is a paying customer with a room phone for use. But she blocked my phone number, so I can’t tell my brother what time his groceries will be dropped off because calling is an inconvenience to the person working the front desk. Really sad… wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. Praying my brother gets his food and hoping this business reads some of their reviews and learns a little customer service skills and compassion.

DO NOT stay here. Especially if theres a lady at the front desk. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES FIRST. 1. They didn’t give me back my deposit, they said they heard a dog bark. That was the dog in the next room. 2. They are many drug dealers there. 3. The location is unsafe and the building and facility is running down. Should not be considered a place of dwelling. 4. They have me a room full of hair. The bed wasn’t made. 5. The POOL IS GREEN.
