NillThis is more of a 2 star hotel. I wish I read the reviews but trusted that Wyndham would take care of their properties. The staff is amazing! Only one man working the desk bless his heart, he was very sweet and helpful. The lobby looks good but the minute you step in the elevator , which is extremely past due on their inspection, you realize your mistake. The rooms need a deep clean. The air flow was not there it is very hot even with the A/C blowing. Everything feels sticky especially the remote and provided documents. The walls need to be painted to hide the stains of people spilling drinks and leaving boogers behind. We got a single bar of soap and a packet of shampoo/conditioner. I couldn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep. This property needs some love and I am extremely disappointed and grossed out especially for the price I paid.

NillThe best thing I can say is the man at the Registration desk was very nice and helpful. He was the only person at the desk and the line was long. He stayed calm, personable and professional. My 2 sisters and I reserved a room at the La Quinta booking phone number for 2 queen beds and a foldout couch. It was confirmed. When we got there the hotel appeared very run down, carpets were frayed everywhere and was not at all modern. Our room smelled bad and looked dirty and only had 2 queen beds, no fold out couch. Had 2 towels, 1 washcloth and 1 tiny bar of soap. We went back to the office, stood in line again and he found us a room ‘like we had originally requested’ on another floor. We got there and it was exactly the same as the first one. No fold out couch, 2 towels, no soap or amenities. 😠 At least it didn’t stink, was just musty. It was pretty late in the day at this point or we would have left. Bottom line, do NOT stay here. It was cheap, unkempt and not clean. I’m trying to get our money back.

NillWe stayed in room 126 and improvements needs to done to at least this room and the room above us. There is an active water leak in the 2nd floor and water can be seen in the restroom ceiling, walls are cracked in restroom and tub holds water, maybe the drain is clogged. Carpet in room needs to be replaced. You dont have to be a carpet expert to know it. Furniture is scratched, lamps bulb is out. We are la quinta in members and we have stayed in numerous nights, this is by far the la quinta that needs a comprehensive renovation. Staff is friendly and helps customers. Well iluminated parking lot. Beds are comfy, sheets are clean. There is hot water and a flat screen TV that works as intended. I understand we get what we pay for and I am not being rude. We have paid in the past the same amount of money at other la quinta hotel and reviews are 5 start. I'm am writing this review because the questions is: " what can we do better". I have pictures upon request. Like I said, comfy beds and sheets. We rested well. Thanks all.

NillIt was a great stay. The beds were perfectly firm for my not-so-great back. We enjoyed the small extra livingroom with larger tv in the king suite. Right under 2 major highways, it was an easy choice. Breakfast options limited, but worth it. Some make your own waffles and expected sausage, yogurt, cereals, eggs.

★★So, I want to start with the few positives of this hotel, and that’s namely the front desk staff. Kendra is an absolute credit to this hotel and anywhere else she decides to work. ||However, the negatives well outweigh the positives||1, this hotel would have been nice 10-15 years ago but it’s run down. The photos online must be old because it certainly doesn’t look like this now. The rooms are worn, there was no ‘leather’ left on the desk chair and was threadbare, the wood in the room was split and delaminated, the air con was so noisy, the bathroom had a leak at some point that has never been fixed. There was an unknown stain on the headboard (luckily I had antibacterial wipes) ||2, the hotel hallway carpet was threadbare. The joins were split and stretched out. My son vomited one day and we said we would clean it but the staff sent housekeeping to deal with it. It was still there later in the day, and eventually wiped up at best. ||3, the breakfast was not great. Luckily there was a waffle maker and that’s pretty much all my kids would eat. ||4, this isn’t in the best area and for someone who didn’t know Austin, we didn’t know better. It’s about $15 in an Uber to downtown but you’d be better saving that money and booking into a hotel downtown. ||Would we return to Austin? Absolutely!!||Would we stay at La Quinta again? Absolutely not. ||Again, the two ladies on reception (Kendra and the taller black lady who’s name escapes me were lovely and should be protected at all costs)

NillThis place is a pit. Great view of the underbelly of the interstate. Opened the curtains and had to immediately was my hands. Refused to take my shoes off on the carpet. Funky smell. Pretty sure the place hasn't seen a cleaning crew since Reagan was in office. Maintenance is an afterthought. Parking lot makes it look abandoned.

NillThe front office desperately needs to be on the same page. At least follow the same rules. Depending on who is working at the front desk it's going to depend what kind of answer you get. You can ask the exact same question to three separate employees and get three different answers. As a paying customer you shouldn't feel like you're putting an employee out by asking them a valid question.... I had the same problem at the Sonesta Select Suites that's right next door to them because the same employees work at that location as well as this La Quinta. An assistant manager took a cash deposit from me and when I checked out and went to retrieve my envelope with cash in it. I was told she no longer work there. Even though she's the assistant manager. Therefore my cash deposit in the envelope has never been given to me nor found. And to this day not even the manager that is still working at both of these locations has followed up with me about my missing cash deposit . As well as as well as the first room I was put in, the front door did not need a key for you to access my room. I was in that room for two full days before I demanded to be moved to a room that had a working door.. the second room I was put in I was awoken by someone trying to use some type of tool to get inside my door. Later on that day I look at the framing of my door and noticed that there were objects shoved inside the frame to keep the latch and the doorknob from being able to securely close. I immediately went to the front desk again I requested to be moved immediately. I'm a female that's staying there by Myself for at least a week already. I was completely uncomfortable. there was severe damage to the door on the 2nd room I was put in due to the lack of the first room not needing a key or anything to get inside the room. There was severe damage that anybody entering that room could see the damage on the frame. I took the objects that someone had placed inside the gut gutted out frame where the doorknob latch and the lock would go if you locked it. However with these objects in there it's impossible to completely close or lock your door. It led you to believe that your door was closed and locked. However these objects I had to pick out of the framing of the door with my tweezers kept the door from latching clothes or locking completely! I again went to the front desk took the objects to the lady at the front desk take pictures of the frame of the door so that you can plainly see that somebody had done this to this particular door. I again had to be moved to a 3rd room! They assured me that the manager would be notified about EVERYTHING. The severe security issues for myself in the 2 rooms I was provided in my first stay and experience with Sonesta Select Suites. They assured me that the framing in the door would be fixed and manager would be notified immediately! The manager was never notified maintenance was never notified. The doors were never fixed!! That room was rented out the day I moved rooms! For someone else to be in danger as I was in that room! I have no words for the lack of concern for the safety of individuals that stay in that hotel alone! It's utterly ridiculous and irresponsible and flat out disregard to a woman's safety when she staying there alone in a room.

Nill00000 stars,, This is a freaking crack hotel, stay far away. (I wish we would have checked the goggle reviews before booking but did not due to booking on Expedia.) We booked on (Expedia) and there web site made this place look like it was a modern, clean and great place to stay. we had a few issues on our trip so we arrived really late 2:30-3:00 am, when we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by people sleeping in there cars, trashy parking lot, torn up sign, over grown grass and two men in the back of the hotel smoking dope, people walking around the vehicles. So as i turned around to leave we got into an altercation with a prostitute because me with my truck and trailer was in her way. needless to say we did not even get out of the truck, got on the phone with Expedia and they assured me they would handle it. Well I get a message today saying they would not refund my money because we were booked as a no show because we didn't check in before the offices closed. So if it you are looking to stay at a good, clean place this one is not it, your vehicle will probably get broken into and they will say they are not responsible.
