TownePlace Suites Houston Baytown

We loved this hotel. Staff were very nice and very helpful. Everything that you need is within walking distance and very close to the freeway. The rooms were pristine and the beds were very comfortable. Good insulation between rooms and floors above so we barely heard anyone. Breakfast was good too. Washers and dryers were a bit pricey compared to other Townplaces, but they all worked. We’ll definitely stay again!

Positive: The room was very spacious and had everything we could possibly need. Also loved that the beds were King and very comfortable. Negative: Shower design isn't great. Water easily came out of the shower.

Not great customer service. Skimping on what was always previously provided such as body wash, hand soap, lotion, etc. But most importantly one of the side door locks is completely broken so literally anybody can enter the building without being seen. Fixing this would require 5 minutes of “labor” and 5 minutes shopping at Home Depot. Overall they clearly don’t care about customer experience or service.

Internet is near nonexistent, shower cold and barley dribbling water. Desk clerk was more interested in her phone than assisting us with Internet issues. I'm sure there are better options . These hotels don't care about your stay or comfort.

Positive: It?s so clean. The staff were wonderful. I didn?t want to leave. Negative: The last day I was at the hotel I noticed a lot of trash in the parking lot. I forgot to let them know.

I'm a long time Marriott fan, general if one is available I try to stay at it while traveling. You come to expect a certain level of cleanliness and upkeep at Marriott's, and this hotel general lived up to those expectations. Unfortunately we got in extremely late, a little after midnight, and I was ready to take a shower and head to bed. This is where troubles started, the shower had no pressure, just a pathetic dribble of water coming out, the temperature wasn't hot but warm enough to get the job done. The next morning was when things then got worse, trying to get your family showere d and ready to start the day in a new city when the only option is a pathetic dribble and ice cold water was not how I wanted to start my day, but here we are. If you want to have no water pressure and cold showers this is your place to stay.

Positive: I felt at home. I didn?t want to leave. The staff was great. Negative: Over the last few days there?s been garbage in the parking lot that hasn?t been cleaned up.

Positive: It?s clean. The staff is warm and friendly Negative: I wish they would be more creative with breakfast. It?s the same thing every day.
