It's a good location. It didn't meet expectations and I'd probably never rent a room here unless I had no other choice. They also double charged us. The room was dirty upon walking in. The sheets had holes from cigarettes from the other guests before us. The floor needed to be swept and everywhere smelt of mold. The jacuzzi tub was dirty and black specs were coming from inside the tub. The actual bath tub was brown from old dirt like it hadnt been scrubbed. There was no handwashing soap in the bathroom. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling.

Booked online. Showed up 7-8pm. Guy was watching TV; looked like great movie. He had no interest in looking up my booking. Finally came to window, an unpolitically explained that it was for another place inn. I asked if we could just switch to his location, he said no an walked away. I asked for a manager. He explained he’s the owner an I would have contact an agent Thu my online booking company…. It was the worst customer service. Stay away from this place…. Pay extra a save yourself the pain of a very poor management/ownership team….

My husband and I stayed at Palace Inn Baytown when we had to leave our home due to mold. Staying at Palace Inn the beds were comfortable. I felt the price was reasonable. The staff were polite and friendly. Although we never went to it they do serve some type of breakfast in the mornings. A few issues:- 1.) In the room we stayed in the remote wouldn't control volume and it was loud. 2.) The tub was extremely slippery, that we ended up going to purchase a non slip bathtub mat from a store. Other than that it was a good place to stay. We had a microwave and a mini fridge in our room. One time we had to call for towels and washcloths as the housekeeping took them out and forgot to replenish them, but it was immediately addressed. If I had to stay again in motel or hotel again in my city, I would definitely stay here if they had a room available.

Hubby and I went for the jacuzzi tub which was awesome. Regular mediocre room nothing major clean sheets and friendly front desk person. I only have a few complaints, the floors were very dirty. House keeping needs to do better cleaning floors and making sure prior guests didn't leave anything. Prior guess left something in microwave so when I opened to use it knats flew out.

Nice and quite. Mold growing in the shower. Dusty light switches meaning they are never touched. Blood on the floor and writing on the bed frame. I let the office person know that mold is growing in the shower and her reply was I’ll send someone tomorrow. These are high contact surfaces that should be sprayed at least once a week with bleach or a cleaning thing.

It was a very nice room I stayed in and it was clean. They had a lot of different little extras besides soaps. They had toothbrushes and toothpaste, shower caps. The best thing was the pillows, best pillow I ever had. I believe it was worth my money.

Cleaning staff is good. Better than some hotels. No issues when getting a replacement key when I locked myself out. The bathrms are nice. The lighting in the room sucks. No lamps just this super brights lights that are oddly placed.
